Change of plans

So after starting to make plans for Costa Rica, Katrina and I decided to change up our plans. We decided to do something that I've been wanting to do for quite a while and go see the Redwoods in California! We are going to fly into San Jose, shoot over to Sequoia National Park first, up to Yosemite National Park, and back over and up to Redwood National Park! Other things we are looking forward to are seeing San Francisco and driving up the coastal highway to the redwoods. Anyone with any suggestions on things to see in these areas, let me know!

Just beware of the bears in Yosemite...especially Orange-19. :-)

So, I was looking at stuff about Yosemite and they say May is the best time to see the waterfalls because all the snow is melting. Yeah Windham! Let's go see San Francisco Bay. Let's both take cameras so we get LOTS of pictures.

After seeing Katrina's sample pictures of that area, I'll admit that I'd love to do that trip someday. What a beautiful area. Can't wait to see pictures from y'alls trip soon!

Costa Rica

So if you've been by her page, then you saw a link to my page when she mentions Costa Rica. Right now Katrina and I are planning to go either in late April or early May! This is somewhere that Katrina has always wanted to go and I just love travelling in general and want to see more of Latin America, so we decided to just go for it! So far we are planning on staying in the Capital, San Jose, and doing some day trips to see sights such as the Arenal volcano, the beaches, and the forests. As you can tell, we still have lots of details to iron out! If by chance anyone has ever been there and has any advice, I'm all ears!

So, I'll update with current going-ons. I finally had 2 consecutive days off, today and tomorrow (Sunday and Monday). Tuesday I work from 8-5, then drive to San Antonio for a little Spurs/ Lakers action! I was 1 of 33 people in the region that won a ticket for selling the most Blackberry phones for a two month stretch. Not bad considering there are 400+ sales reps in the region :) Then, I will turn around and be back in San Antonio Thursday for a Verizon annual "Kickoff" for the year. They just get the big wigs together and they go over last years sales results, talk about what this years goals are, and usually introduce a new product or 2 which is my favorite part. Anyhow, that's it for now!
