Thank you all that commented and those that prayed but chose to be anonymous...that's OK too.
Continue in prayer or better said...pray without ceasing!
Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year to All.
May you love more today than you did yesterday and less than tomorrow.
May you prosper and share that prosperity with others.
May you be blessed with good health and well being.
May you walk at a slower pace.
May you be kind to everyone.
May you teach others about God.
May you endure patiently those that do you wrong and correct them with gentleness.
May you find the peace that passes all understanding and joy in the love of God.
May you share that peace and joy and love with all those around you.

yes scroll down and re-read the previous post...
OK got it...
good...
Now comes my request...
Please, please, please remember me and my family in your daily supplications to the Father.
Some might say...well Joe I have never ceased to pray for you and your family. To you I say thank you, thank you very much.
I don't think it is selfish to ask someone to pray for you. Everybody needs encouragement now and again...or prayers on their behalf...
I know that James says effective fervent prayer of the righteous man availeth much and I covet your prayers on our behalf.
...nobody is sick, other than the nagging ailments of these fragile bodies...
...basic needs are being met, roof over our head, clothes on our backs, food in the pantry, the lights are still on...
I'm just asking you as a friend...and if you are reading this I consider you a close friend...to pray for us...
...for comfort for missing recently departed loved ones...and not so recently departed ones as well...it seems our family patriarchs chose the holiday season to leave this world for the next...we remember them and miss them so very much...
...financial difficulties...I know we are not alone in this struggle because of the economic times we are in right now but pray for better times...for all of us...
...for positive things...better job opportunities as yet unrealized but very possible in the near future...
...faith...sometimes we all need help to strengthen our faith...
Give thanks to the Lord! His lovingkindness is everlasting!
This ain't no prayer cloth or anything like that.
It's just a man, asking other men and women to pray for him and hie family and promising that he will do likewise for them.
Thank you.

Pray, yes, pray, everyday. In the morning when you wake up and at noon time while there is lunch and in the evening when you lie down and every hour in between. When you are in your car and when you are in your room, and when you sit down to eat and when you gather together with family and friends. Always keep an open dialogue with the Heavenly Father.
...and be reasonable when you pray...don't pray for a Cadillac...or a box of hundred dollar bills...pray for basic needs...pray for health and peace...and forgiveness of sins...pray that someone will get well...or maybe they (or yourself) needs help getting through a life situation...God knows what you need...He just wants you to ask for it.
...but...be careful what you pray for...because God just might say no...because He loves you and knows what is best for you...and be very careful what you ask for in prayer...because you just might get it...
I reserve the right to revise and extend these remarks at any time. Most of this came from a sermon or combination of sermons and lessons and bible studies...I believe every word of it.

It's been awhile now, since Singing School, that I have written more than a couple sentences (FB) and placed them out there for all the world to see. My muse seems to have left me for a time but maybe she is coming back soon...
