CHRISTIAN REMINDER
For Christians are not different from the rest of mankind in country nor in language nor customs. But while dwelling in Greek and barbaric cities, and following the local customs in clothing and food and in the rest of life, they demonstrate the uncommon condition of their own citizenship (in heaven, not in this world) .
They obey the established laws and yet in their own lives they surpass the laws. They love all men, and yet by all men are persecuted. They are put to death, but are made alive. They are reviled, and yet they are justified. They are abused, and yet they bless. They are insulted, and yet they honor. When doing good, they are condemned as evil-doers. When being condemned, they rejoice as those being made alive.
I thuoght this was a very good thing to post for young or older Christians, or people who mare planning on brecoming a Christian. This letter was written about 1900 years ago when the Romans were persecutin g Christians.
P.S.
I got the letter from my history book.
Have a good day toodles,
Maria B.
