I typed this once, and then lost my connection to the internet...(a fragile thing this is...) Anyway, THANKS SO MUCH for the warm welcome you all gave me to pleonast. You made me feel so at home here in cyberspace already! :-)

My husband will be gone for 3 weeks, and I have done this before, but would still appreciate ideas for coping without one's hubby for such a long time. I AM keeping busy, which is always a good thing!!
I was a poll worker on Tuesday for the WV primary elections. I worked with some nice people, (made new friends/contacts), and I found it all very interesting...learned a little bit more about how the system works. (hours are a bit rough - 5:30 AM until 7:30 PM, but it's only the one day) Have any of you done this type of thing? What did you think about it?

Hello everyone! I would love to be in touch with all of you guys more often. I thought I would give blogging a try and see how it goes. I hope all of you are doing OK. I am happy to be improving my cyber skills, and I hope to learn web "blob" etiquette rapidly so my abrupt move into the 21st century will not have too many errors...:-).
I dont know if you knew I am married, and a father. I have been very blessed.
I still consider your example and try to emulate many of the qualities you have displayed, which I find throughout the bible.
My wife's name is Jill, and she is a tremendous blessing in every area of my life. I know I dont deserve any of the wonderful things the lord has given me, and I am so thankful to him, I know I would have nothing without him.
My son's name is Christian. He'll be one December 12, and he's a good boy. Pray for me sister, that I will find the strength to be a godly father and make choices to guide my family to the lord.
In christian love,
Paul
happy
holidays!
