Fellowship
I spent Sunday with a wonderful Christian family and had a great day!! Sunday morning started out with the blessings of getting together with my church family to worship the Lord. After services, I went to lunch with several members of my church family. I then drove my friend and her brother home. I was given a tour of the new home they are building and was shown around the farm. I love the peace and beauty of their land and enjoyed watching the baby animals play! I was then invited to go with this family to pick up her younger sister. We then went to church in LR and had another great service. After services we all enjoyed a great supper together. During the drive and supper we had some interesting discussions about the Bible which I thoroughly enjoyed. I had such a great time that I forgot that my little dog was home all alone and didn't have a way to go outside!! Woops!! But she was fine when I got home and hadn't had an accident. Yay!!
This family has been such a help and a blessing to me! I am so thankful to God for putting them in my life! I've never had a friendship quite like this one. I've had many Christian friends and have enjoyed my time spent with all of them. But away from church, most of these friendships focused on having fun. This friendship is different. Although I always have fun when I am around this family, I am also challenged in a way I never have been before. Their biblical knowledge is very good, their love for the Lord is huge, and their desire to teach others about the Lord is amazing! They make me long to be a better person and want to strive to serve Him more! I could go on and on...but I think you get the picture. I want to say thank you to this wonderful family for all of the wonderful things they have done for me and for so many others. Without this family, there are many who may not have ever had the chance to know our Lord, and, above all, that is the most important thing that we, as Christians, can ever do...teach others about Him!

It is such a blessing to come across people like this in our path, isn't it??!! I wonder often, and try all the time to better myself, but just don't know that I'll ever be someone who someone like you pays such an amazing compliment to!! -
Tara, you are so sweet! I am very touched by all you wrote, and I'm encouraged that we're helpful to you. :) We still have a long ways to go, but any good in us is fron the Lord. You are a sweet blessing to us, and I learn from your enthusiasm and love for others. Love you!

Nope, still no news...does the mail run today?? Probably not with my luck, not that anything would be in there anyway. Are you seriously thinking about moving to Nashville??
