Florida College

I've decided it's time to return to Tampa, and FC is a part of the plan making that possible. Beginning again in the Fall of 2010, I'll be teaching in the Communication Department at Florida College. I have so missed it. It will be a rewarding return.

Jessica's family is there in Tampa, we'll be an hour closer to my family, and we will delight in returning to our spiritual family at Livingston Ave. What a great big ol' pile of blessing!

Congratulations to you! I know you will enjoy being so near family and to be doing what you absolutely love. Have a wonderful time making plans and seeing them come to fruition. I know the GSR family will miss you terribly but thankfully Tampa is just a short trip from Gville. Again, congratulations!!!

I am really going to miss you all, but knowing you'll be down there watching my baby, I'm okay with it. As I told Jessica when I first found out, she will have quite a commute to orchestrate Rebecca's wedding...or maybe we can just have it down there, you can do everything for me and I'll just show up for the ceremony like my mom did for my sister's!

I know what you mean about FB - it's been a black hole since I joined over there. The latest news is that the birth mother had a check-up tuesday and shows no signs of being ready, though the baby seems to be about 7.5#. So, we're just waiting for a call to hit the road. I'm looking forward to meeting up with you again and meeting your family!

I guess I should say something brilliant and provacative here about the current world of politics and the future of the republican party, or whether or not Sarah Palin has swayed my vote towards the McCain ticket or give you an explanation for why I'm actually considering a third party candidate.

Or perhaps I could write some deep devotional thoughts reflecting on how I'm feeling spiritually today, or what I've observed in nature, among my family, or in my church that has brought me new and deep insight into the profound depths of life as we experience it on this little blue-green orb.

Or maybe I could jump courageously into the latest doctrinally controversy, stir up a hornets nest, watch as friend and others line up on either side of the debate and store away some remarks that will really zing when the discussion gets rolling.

I could also wow you with inventive witticisms, or make some sardonic comments on the latest silliness in pop culture or a strange web document which somehow caught my attention after a recent google search.

I think, however, that I'll just say, "hi" from me and mine.

The only problem with a third party canidate is it wouldn't truly be a vote against Obama. I don't like McCain at all, but he is definetly the lesser of two evils and a vote for him actually hurts Obama's chances much more so than a vote for a third party canidte.
