So I have noticed that time is very odd. It can fly and be gone in an instant and it can crawl and no time can pass at all. Or it may even do both at the same time! Time is flying and I "panic" once in a while because Christmas is just around the corner and would you know I have nothing done? Usually I'm on the ball a bit more. (I did buy one Chirstmas present yesterday and that made me very happy).
At the same time time crawls. Our
wedding seems so far away! I want to be married right now I don't want to wait and I'm feeling very impatient. It seems like it will never get here, yet I try very hard not to wish time away. Oh well I suppose the wedding and Christmas will both be here soon enough! :) I hope everyone is having a wonderful day! I have to go to work now so hopefully it will stay wonderful! :)
We are all really excited, my Aunt Shell is pregnant! It is so COOL!! However, she did miscarry the last baby and it took a while for her to get pregnant this time, so we are all praying really hard and would ask for your prayers too, for a safe and successful pregnancy. Everytime I hear of someone being pregnant or having a baby I'm just amazed at God's power. I don't honestly know how anyone can not believe in God with this everyday miracle.
Hope all is well for everyone!
I did something I have never done before in my life! I actually fell asleep in a movie theatre. That is quite embarrassing to admit to but an impromptu midnight showing for Wall-E with Mindle
and Beamer resulted in me falling asleep during a children's movie that was indeed only an hour and thirty-seven minutes long. Very sad, so I can only really say that I was not as impressed with this one as I have been with past movies but then again I kept missing bits and pieces :)
I think, though, that I have a valid reason for falling asleep. I have had a very busy week and not very much sleep. My Mom and sisters came down and we did lots of things for our
wedding. Including finding a wedding dress, booking a photographer, ordering invitations, placing a chair order for the ceremony, making appointments with florists, and a DJ. I think everything that requires advance notice has now set aside out date, which by the way will be October 25th of this year. Yay! Now perhaps I will leave the stress behind :)
Hope all is well with everyone! :)
Okay so now that just about everyone knows I guss it is okay to say that I am officially engaged to Mindle
. It happened at Disneyland in the Blue Bayou (the restaurant inside Pirates of the Caribbean). Very romantic place to eat, although it is rather cold in there, that is if you are soaking wet...which I was. I warned Mindle that this might have endeared Disneyland to me even more, you know I didn't think it was possible? But it was! ;)
I would post pictures other than I am updating off of a dial-up connection (yes they are still around!) That would be one of the reasons I hadn't updated sooner, it takes almost an entire day for a page to load, maybe not that long but you get the idea.
Well that is about all I can come up with now. I would give a detailed account of his proposal but I am quite tired and would probably butcher the retelling if I did so. One day there just might be pictures! Hope all is well with everyone!
This weekend I was able to go to Yuma and meet his
family. It was a really nice weekend if a little out of the normal for them. I was glad we got to go! I did some things I had never done before, like actually be in Yuma...no I also got to eat a date, which tasted like candy! Then we visited a very historic location...
Seriously the sands of Tatooine!
Can't you see the stormtroopers hunting the escape pod? Or Jabba's barge with a doomed Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Chewbacca and the rest? I can!
Well that was pretty much my weekend. It was very exciting and fun! Even if we did miss the talent show! Hope everyone else had a good weekend as well!
