I was lucky to get to spend the weekend with my family and my nephew up in Fort Walton Beach Florida this weekend. The one down side is I missed Erika too much. I could have stayed longer but 4 days away from home with out my lovely wife is too much. Well, now I am back and I am very happy. When I lived in Indiana and we would travel, I was always excited to go back home. Now is no different (probably worse). My home is in a different place but it is definitely my home. When I got home bandit was so excited and tried to sleep right in between Erika and I. Erika was still awake on a school night at 11pm and I was very happy to be able to spend a little time with her before we went to bed. Though I am really busy I look forward to any time I get to spend with Erika. She is very busy as well. She is going to Texas in a week and I am going to be the one waiting on her to get back.
My brother-in-law is away in Iraq and will be gone for 4 months. I can't imagine being away from Erika for that long. I am truly blessed!
