UHHH Do I need to update!!!!!!

So I guess it has been 5 months since I updated since Isaiah is

now a little over 10 months old. He is on the verge of

walking. He is slow about getting teeth. So far only one

toofer on the bottom. I keep telling him that tooth is lonesome

and needs some buddies. We finally got his sleeping thing

down. It took about 8 months. I used Supernannys method in her

book for the first year of your babies life. It is called the

controlled crying techique. I'm not saying it will work for

everyone but it has worked great for us. I don't think my body

knew how to handle 7 or 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep. oh and

he lays down awake and puts himself to sleep. We are about to

start remodeling the house. We got a new roof and hopefully in

a couple weeks we will start replacing our blue siding. Yeah!!!

no more blue. If everything goes to plan and we can stay on

budget we hope to have enough money to do a small addition. A

much needed garage, laundry room, bathroom and bedroom. That

way Isaiah can be downstairs and we can move back to our

bedroom. I don't see how some families have small children

upastairs it makes me a nervous wreck. If we are lucky enough

to build one day all of the bedrooms will be on one level. I am

hoping to get back to doing some of the things I enjoy like

scrapbooking and cooking/baking. Now that Isaiah is older I am

hoping he will be able to spend more time with his daddy. It is

hard when they are little to do anything for yourself even take

a bath. I see him becoming more independent every day. Little

things like he use to not let you out of his sight now he leaves

the room and is like see ya later mom. I love how he does'nt

have a care or worry in the world. Such simple carefree times if

we only knew how good we had it at that age. I know Wes is

waiting on the day he can take him fishing. Other than Isaiah

Not many exciting things happen in our life. What did we do

before him??? Must have been pretty boring. I will try to post

some new pictures. I have the hardest time putting pictures on

pleonast. does anybody have any suggestions of an easy way to

do it?

THE HOLIDAY SEASON HAS BEGUN

I CAN'T BELIEVE WE ARE ALREADY INTO DECEMBER. WHERE HAS THIS

YEAR GONE. ISAIAH IS NOW 5 1/2 MONTHS GROWING AND LEARNING NEW

THINGS EVERY DAY. HE IS ON THE VERGE OF SITTING UP BY HIMSELF.

HE FINDS NALA AND CASPER AMAZING HE LOVES TO PET THEM. SO

SWEET. HE THINKS NALA IS SO FUNNY, WHEN YOU THROW HER TOY AND

SHE BRINGS IT BACK HE LAUGHS OUT LOUD AT HER. MY SISTER

INFORMED ME LAST NIGHT WE JUST NEED TO GO AHEAD AND HAVE ANOTHER

ONE. I TOLD HER I THINK WE WILL WAIT A COUPLE OF YEARS. I NEED

SOME SLEEP BEFORE WE HAVE ANOTHER. WE ARE ALL DOING GREAT JUST

PREPARING FOR THE HOLIDAYS, DECEMBER IS ALWAYS SO PACKED WITH

FUN THINGS TO DO. LAST NIGHT AFTER OUR LADIES BIBLE STUDY WE

MADE GINGERBREAD HOUSES. I HAVE NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE IT WAS

SOOO MUCH FUN. IT WILL DEFINETLY BE A NEW TRADITION IN OUR

HOUSE. WELL I'M GOING TO LAY ISAIAH DOWN FOR HIS NAP AND TRY TO

GET A FEW THINGS DONE. IF I DON'T BLOG AGAIN BEFORE CHRISTMAS I

HOPE EVERYONE HAS A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A SAFE AND HAPPY NEW

YEAR.

Just give me a call...If you want to do them at night, Mondays and Thursdays are best for me. If you prefer during the day, just give me a call and we'll compare schedules. 9-month pics are so fun because they're getting personalities big-time and that comes through in the pictures...

Thanks for your help with Esther's poles...

We enjoyed visiting with your Mom and Grandma in Walmart tonight after church...

I love his smile!! I love being a Mom!!!

Isaiah Samuel Moore

It has been a while since I have updated. So while Wes is watching little man I thought I better take advantage of my time. Being a mom is the best gift God gives. You wonder in the first few sleepless nights if you are going to make it through with your sanity. But you do and you build more patience and your heart grows to love and care for this beautiful gift from above. We are settling into a better routine and adapting to all the changes that come along with parenthood including less sleep, but really we are very fortunate the first week was rough but now Isaiah is asleep between 9:30 and 11:00 and only gets up once to eat. God has truly blessed us with Isaiah. He is healthy and beautiful and what more can you ask for. We have to get ready to go eat BBQ at my mom and dads, my dad is actually cooking the pork. hope everyone is having a safe and happy fourth of july. :)

It was so good to hear this report...I know you are enjoying motherhood! There's no describing it, is there? I remember constantly looking at Jessica and not believing she was really HERE and MY BABY! I do recommend sleeping when he naps so you don't get too run-down...It's tempting to get this done and that done while he sleeps but your body really needs the rest...It's okay to take care of YOU! This unsolicited advice comes to you free of charge... ;) Love you!
