Yesterday I started my summer job......keeping my little friend again for the summer along with Isabella. A 7 year old and a 9 year old......fun, fun, fun....I managed to survive the first day so maybe I can handle the rest of the summer. Trying to find some things to do to keep them occupied.....I am not creative but maybe I will think of things as we go along. Doing some crafts and sewing and library. They are used to the fast pace of school so I will have to try to stay at least one step ahead. Looking forward to it though.
But mostly I am saddened by the tragedy in Oklahoma. Praying for all those families and especially the ones whose children are still missing......Can't imagine having to go through that kind of disaster. Praying none of my pleo friends have family or friends there in the Moore or the surrounding areas. I think I would have had a heart attack if I had seen that big monster funnel coming at me.....whew!

She is 9 years old .....yesterday......time flies when your having fun.....seems like not too long ago she was just a tiny baby.
Didn't have a big party......she got an iPod so that took the party money but she was good with that. We still celebrated.....at chick Fil a.....our usual Wed. Nite treat before bible study. Her friend Ansley and her Mother came.....we had dinner...presents and the children and Granddaddy had special cupcakes from GiGi's and chickfila ice cream......fun, fun!
She got a couple of gift cards, new outfit, and a few other trinkets......but the the thing she wanted was a surprise....the IPod. She is a happy 9 yr. old!
Saturday is our Relay for Life but the weather man says 40% chance of rain. Sooooooo, maybe it will bypass us! One of our members is a cancer survivor, plus Hugh and other friends, and family members. This will be my first one....I am excited.

Our daughter's boyfriend took me, Melanie(our daughter), Isabella, His Mother, His Step-Mother to dinner last night! Oh, Yea, my husband went and the boyfriends father also. ..... And the boyfriend insisted on paying for all of us.......how sweet. He is a good man and is kind and considerate.....we went to a special place where they had fancy food and expensive......but delicious. A place to go for special occasions and not an all the time place. we enjoyed it and got to know his family a little better......hmmmm, is there something to that for me to be worried a out.....perhaps an engagement in the near future??????
Today we went to lumvpch at our favorite BBQ place and I took one of the ladies whose children would not do that and don't treat her right.....so she and her 2 yr. old granddaughter went with us along with Melanie and Isabella. of a sweet card from Candy who lives in Texas and. Sweet card from Melanie and one from Isabella and also the boyfriend gave me one yesterday.
Hugh gave me a sweet one he printed off computer .....so loving.......I guess I am saying I have been showered with love and affection!!!!!! Love it!!!
