Moving Up

I simply cannot wait to begin high school. I'll be going to Jefferson County International Baccalaureate High School with Meredith. Everybody says it's kind of scary, but it kind of sounds like fun to me. I realize we get at least four times the work of a normal public high school, but that's only because we work from an international curriculum. One of the teachers there hates freshmen (he even has a freshman voodoo doll that now resembles a pinchushion), but my sister says he's brilliant. A lot of the teachers are kind of like that. Well, that's all for now. Have a good summer!

Of course, we are all looking forward to summer. It's on it's way. I can taste it already. And it's going to be busy.
I have two weeks of Space Academy and a week in Colorado with Meredith coming up, not to mention getting my braces off, registering for high school, and band camp. Yes, this summer will certainly be busy.

The NTVDM is a virtual machine that your code runs in. I assume DMC is Digital Mars' C compiler? If not, what is it? If so, you might have to call a system function to get access to "protected" memory.

If you're in C/C++, you can escape to assembly and call an interrupt from
there. "Use API in a DOS application" doesn't make much sense to me -- which
API? The Windows API? If you're running Windows underneath the hood, the
OS's functions are always available.
