Ireland, Scottland & London Trip

Roger and I went with the FC Group this year to Ireland, Scottland and London. It was a wonderful trip! Ireland and Scottland get my vote for the most beautiful places! The highlands in Scottland were awesome! But of course, it was created by an Awesome God! We saw many castels, many sheep, and the greenest grass you could imagine! A MUST SEE for anyone who has not been. London is full of information - you must visit the British museum.

How neat to be among friends here on Pleonast! My daughters, son, niece, son-in-law, and daughter-in-law are all here with me...SUPRISE!! :) Can't wait to hear from other friends, too!

Just thought I'd share one of the greatest experiences of my life shown in this picture...

THAT'S MY HAND that the hummingbird is resting on!!

My husband was waiting to snap this picture while I stood motionless, arrayed in camouflage, as the hummingbirds buzzed around my head. I could even feel the wind from their wings...how extraordinary!!! And then it happened...the hummingbird alighted on my finger to drink the nectar from the feeder!! :) Hope you catch the excitement of this picture! :)

    well I think the pot roast turned out pretty good for a first timer. I ended up having to go out and buy a bigger crock pot because after a few hours of cooking, I noticed the the entire roast had floated to the top and was pushing the vegetables into the lid! A quick run to Wal-mart did the trick and the potential fiasco was avoided. Thanks so much for the instructions.

    March 9th; I would be there to witness the whole thing but they're going to have a private ceremony in Las Vegas. It was fast but then again he's always wanted her since he knew her...so I'm pretty excited for him. As far as I'm concerned, this semester is a lot harder in terms of subject material but it's not as big of a shock as the first semester was. So I'm hanging in there! I'm a little bit more homesick though since the Christmas holidays were so short with most of my time spent in Jamaica. Okay, gotta get back to studying; talk to you soon. Give Angela a hug for me; your guys' picture is on my fridge. Makes me smile.

    Hey Mrs. Tramell! Yeah, we're doing great...we have a fairly busy week ahead, but it will be fun! :) It's been VERY cold...but then I just looked at the expected temp for today...58!!!
