I am planning on having all my granddaughters together in a photo next week. I have thought of black pants, white shirt, or jeans and black shirt, tan and black or white shirt...any other ideas or suggestions?

2010..

I am ready for the New Year.
  • sjean
Me too. 2009 was an eventful year, 2 weddings and 4 graduations, but 2010 could be even better.

Beats not being ready. :) Hope you and yours have a happy, healthy, and productive new year. Last year was full of excitement and new beginnings with our 2 weddings. This year I fear it will be a year of loss since my mother continues the sad debilitating decine of alzheimer's disease. The best to you all. If you are ever coming this way, we'd love to have you.

Greetings from Plano, TX. Enjoyed Adam's blog so much, with his giggling daughter. It reminded me to come here and check on you. Read your "dreaming of being pregnant" blog. I have never had that particular dream. The night before last, though, I woke up to this dream: I was visiting the Spring Creek church, but they'd altered their building so you only had access to their second story auditorium through very narrow, unguarded steps up on both sides. For some reason, I could not negotiate the steps, so sat out in front in someone's car, because the service was broadcast outside! Couldn't stay out there, because the woman's children (where I was sitting in the car) were too noisy.... so I was trying to get back into the building.... and I woke up. Where do these crazy dreams come from? THIS morning, I was quilting, but apparently that dream wasn't as vivid; I don't remember any details. [Aren't you glad!]

And aren't you glad my wordy self doesn't write to you very often! Hope everything is getting better for you.

I used to have pregnancy dreams. They were always that my sister was pregnant. Everytime I dreamed that dream, I came up pregnant. I haven't had one of those in a while. :)

just a few days ago....I dreamed we had triplets! It was a nightmare that night because Chloe hasn't been sleeping well cuz of her cold and teething. So...with triplets and Chloe, by the time we got one fed and asleep another was awake, so NO sleep for Mom!

Jason, our oldest son, wrote this:

American Hero
Brave and Bold

There is a story that needs to be told,
of an American Hero Brave and Bold.
In harms way he goes to fight,
displaying no fear whether day or night.

As we sit back to eat our TV meals,
the Hero is fighting on foreign battlefields.
Whether hot, cold, rain or snow,
in a minutes notice he is ready to go.

While our children play in the park as we sit on benches,
he prays for his as he lay in the trenches.
As we worry about the minutes on our cell,
he worries about the mission, for he cannot fail.

He stands Brave and Bold as the bullets fly,
and sometimes watches as fellow Hero's die.
He will never let our freedom perish,
because of him it we will always cherish.

Foreign and domestic he defends the
Red, White, and Blue.
The Hero has and will always
fight, bleed, and die for me and you.
