This morning we woke up to snow on the ground outside and no heat inside. Right now it is about 53 degrees inside and outside it is about 33 degrees.

That (no heat) happens to us several times each winter. I think the lowest we have gotten inside has been about 42 degrees. BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! :)

Hope you get the heat working soon. It's one thing to see your breath outside, but quite another to see it when you're in the house. ;)

Connie!!! I had a dorm monitor meeting last night, and my boss informed us that adults are not allowed to stay in the dorms during lecture week......AHHHHH!!!

We are finally home after about 3 weeks of traveling.

For a week and a half we went to New England to sight-see and visit friends. We did and saw many things, but my favorite thing we did was visit with brethren. The brethren in the Northeast are some of the best Christians I know and I love being with them. While we were up there we climb Mt. Monadnock with brethren from the area. It was a hard climb up with rocks and tree roots everywhere. But, once we got to the top we had an amazing view all round us. After we ate lunch, we then sang some songs one of the first ones we sang was The Mountain Song. Then we hiked down, and on the way down I talked to two good friends of mine. We all had a good time.

Two days after that trip we left for Indiana to go to HS Camp. The weekend before the camp we stayed with a wonderful family and had a good visit. Then Camp was amazing, I couldn't ask for a better last year :( . There was also two baptism at camp this year! We got home at midnight last night after a 12 hour drive. It feels really good to be home even though I miss everybody.

Now it's time for me to take a much needed nap.

Good and busy here too. : ) Schools going good I guess. lol I am working on materials for the children's class I'm getting ready to teach. My uncle came in for Thanksgiving. No school this week, made me a very happy camper. : ) it's all been great! : )

It's directed by Tim Burton, and looks quite marvelous. :)
But...it IS rated PG13 for violence. Not a big deal if it weren't...animated. xD

Today I helped out at our 4-H center, putting out fabric for a huge fabric sale they have during our 4-H fair. I got to stack fabric in boxes that are on their sides on tables (the boxes are being used as cubby holes) and I had to clean-up the fabric after a landslide fell on the floor. I worked on learning the different kinds of fabrics, like wool, cotton, cotton blends, home deco., denim, coderias, fleeces, flannel, etc. I got to shop some too (that is the best part of the whole thing). It was a long but fun day.

I will be going back tomorrow to help some more with setting up and to help put up some displays of the clothing and other things that some of the 4-H members have made. Of course I get fabric for every hour I work.

The black dog is ours the rest we were watching for the day. We had fun trying to take care of all of them.

On a different note-
Last night we got home from G-burg very late. But we had an excellent weekend, heard some good lessons about Christians Facing a Corrupting Culture. I also got to meet some wonderful people and got to know some others better. I got to play a lot of Volleyball and a little football. I love weekends when I get to spend time with other Christians. It is always so encouraging.

So that is the most recent thing that has happened around here.
