and leftover pine tree shards
and sleeping in late in the day
to gingerbread cookies
and board games for rookies
and movies that came out on blu-ray
here's to 75% off for the same exact thing
because i waited two extra days
and stocking up on holiday flavored yummies
like pumpkin
and peppermint
and weird fat dude shaped chocolate
and cheese that belongs in our tummies
here's to hilarious photographs
late night secrets and laughs
and wishing the rest of the year was this fun
here's to holiday pay
and remembering to pray
for those who don't have anyone
