Great American Teach-In

I have been once again invited to join in on the Great American Teach-In this year at Denham Oaks Elementary. I plan on going but haven't had it "Okay'd" yet. The school, however, doesn't realize this...

Denham oaks has already sent newsletters home to the parents about how awesome the balloon guy is going to be this year. On top of that, the letter which is to ASK for permission for me to attend basically says, "Fudge is going, excuse him." I hope all goes over well... I have no money (I am volunteering, but I figure that someone would spot me some cash for the balloons) and I need to do something to keep me preoccupied.

Last year when I went I had a blast! I was able to make balloons for bunches and bunches of people and I juggled and unicycled and showed off my dollar bill origami too. I went home afterward knowing that is was fun and knowing I needed a nap... Soon after I recieved a phone call stating that I needed to stop by and pick something up. I went later that afternoon and to my suprize, I was given a gigantic handfull of letters and cards made by the elemetary kids with pictures and phrases and all kinds of cool stuff on them. I love little kids... I just hope that if I am burdened with one that it will turn out half-decent. (I only say burdened because I am very much aware as to how much money they cost, let alone how much time, effort and concern go into them...)

Well, I am out for today... Have a great one!

I don't think you're going to have much trouble remembering to post... You've posted four times since last night!

She is completely psychotic... She taught me how to say mean things about people and not have to type their names... Aint that great?! Yay for the psycho!

Previous Entry

The previous entry was a poem written early morning on the 19th at about 2AM. It reflects the basic values and feelings I grew up on and stresses the important things my mother put first in life.

I wrote more and I feel more, but this is what came out being half-decent... I don't do much writing at all, but this one really hit home. If you want to get to know me rather quickly, this is the way to do it. I wear my heart on my sleave and now is the time to take it in... While it is still easy to do so and before I write so much that all that becomes of this is utter chaos.

Good Night, Sweet Dreams and I Love You

Not the richest in any sense
A smoker from the start
My mom loves me always
Even when she falls apart

Migraine headaches all the time
Troubled teens and broken toes
Misplaced hips and arthritis too
That’s the pain that momma knows

Broken heart and troubled times
We just ran out of food
She deals with me all the time
Even when I am in “that mood”

Hard days and long nights
Sometimes without sleep
Momma would treat us kids the best
And this she would always keep

“Good night, sweet dreams and I love you
I’ll be with you until the end
If there is ever anything I can do to save you
You believe it, help I’ll send

“I’m your momma and I love you
You know it yet I’ll say it again
I love you now and for always
Forever and again:

“I love you, you’re my special
You’ll be my baby until the end
If ever someone’s wanting
Please give a hand to lend

“Without the gracious help from others
I know not where we’d be
Give the shirt off your back always
And in the end you’ll see:

“It’s not the money you have
Nor the people you know
But the mouths you feed
And your good deeds

“Finally I say as I always do
Good night,
Sweet dreams
And I love you”

Hello Everyone!

I have just joined Pleonast. I am not certain how I did it and I am not for sure why, but I am sure that many will get a great kick out of it here in the future.
If anyone has something that they wish for me to post, explain, or babble about... Please feel free to verbally slap me around so that I get it done. Otherwise, I may never actually post on the site. (And that would be a bad thing...)
Anywho... Hope all are having a great time! Hope to hear from you soon!
