So... I found a website from a long, LONG time ago and thought you guys might get a kick out of it...
http://www.geocities.com/cheeseyainteasy
So, I officially have finished my first round of DVDs... Yay!
So, now to get my web guy to put up the website so that I can sell them... :-/
oh... and in case you guys were wondering... DVDs are expensive to make... it costs me $200 to get one DVD and then an extra $300 to get 100 copies. Then... after all that is done, I still need to print and shrink wrap everything...
$500 for 100 DVDs...That's $5 a DVD... Plus I have to pay the web guy, myself, and put some to the Company... So, that's at least $15. Then, if I send them to a distributer, then I'm only making $7.50... (they only pay half... )
So, maybe I have to sell them for $20. If I can get them to a distributer for $10 each... Then that will leave me at least $5/DVD to put toward the company.
Well, there you go... $20/DVD, plus a flat $5 shipping per DVD. (I'll have to ask, but may be able to get that down to $2.50/DVD or $5/order...We'll see...)
Anyway... wish me luck!

Being able to make balloon animals is a skill. It takes years of practice and lots of time and money to learn. I spend well over $4,000 a year on continuing education. In fact, this year, I'm currently looking at spending $4,000 in addition to my all expense paid trip to China to learn balloon entertainment from some of the best in the world. I go out of my way to make sure I learn everything I can so that I can condense that knowledge so I can teach you what you need to know within a week. I then teach you how you can make anywhere from $10-$200/hr with the skills you learn.
If you are looking for a great part time job where you can make full time income and you're looking for a great new skill what can be used throughout your life, then this is the way you would want to go.
If you want to meet up first and make sure you feel comfortable that you can twist a balloon, that is fine. However, I need to make sure you have ordered your starter kit before I can continue training you.
If you are just looking to learn a new skill and you are interested in just learning to twist a balloon, I offer a balloon twisting class where I provide all the resources needed to twist balloons and I teach you and a group of up to 5 of your friends in my Balloons 101 class. That costs $200 and lasts anywhere between an hour and an hour and a half.
I'll tell you like I tell everyone that I bring onto my balloon crew:
I'll teach you what you need to know to be making $15/hr in restaurants on a regular basis. If you decide you want to learn more shapes, more jokes, more skills, or more entertainment... Or if you decide you want to branch out into corporate events or birthday parties, then let me know and I will do my best to teach you anything you need to know.
One of the artists I taught balloons to 3 months ago is working an event here in TX for an hour where he is being paid $200. That is one hour of work on a saturday afternoon! I can teach anyone with a half-way decent personality to do the same.
I am only in Tampa for a short amount of time. I will be there March 28th-April 8th. I am busy for most of that already, but I will do my best to meet up with you if you are intested in hearing more. If you would like to see one of our artists at work, let me know and I'll give you a list of restaurants and times when an artist will be there.
I am actually about to head to a balloon jam in about an hour. (It is in TX or I would invite you to come out and meet some of our artists.)
Let me know what you would like to do and I can contact you to set up a time and place to meet and teach you a few balloon shapes.
