What's Up?

Hola Pleo Peeps!

So far life has been interesting. And busy. Crazy busy!

How is everyone's summer going?

I'm happy and sad about my summer.
1. Because I have free time
2. Because it is almost over

I'm always glad for time off, but at the same time I kind of miss school. Getting up and going
to learn part. Reading books and learning about new things. That's what I miss. Oh! My mom might say that I also miss the school supplies. LOL! JK!

Soon enough school will be starting and then I'll be like Nooooooooooo! Just Kidding!

I'm just glad that summer is here, even though it is almost gone now.

Well I'm off!

Just wanted to say Hola!

TTYL,
Caitlin

haha... when my brother (Alex) was in the second grade, he told my mom that he hated school. He said "I would hate everything about school if it weren't for the cute animals on the papers (worksheets)." LOL

Dang Computer!

Ok, so remember those pictures I keep talking about?

Well I just tried to upload them, but the computer won't let me find them. They all
have little red X's on them!

Grrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe I'll try tomorrow or something.

Anyway!

Yay for it almost being the weekend!
Not so much for saturday, but tomorrow is Friday!!
YAY!!!!!!

I'm just glad because today was nice. Not the heat so much
but the day has been okie dokie!

Just a little over a month and school will be starting back soon.
Weird. Because it feels like summer has just started. But whatever.
I do not run my school or else I'd have us starting in September!

Gotta Run and figure out why the pictures are not working.

Caitlin

Got it stuck in my head!

Ok, so before some might get mad or sigh at me, I'm warning you!

I have a Michael Jackson stuck in my head!

There! Over!

Put aside the other stuff, the "controversial" issues for just a moment. Please!

He was very talented and had an amazing gift. He was totally cool with the moves! Granted
I never knew the 1980's Michael Jackson, but his songs are great.
So don't remember him for the bad, "controverisal" issues. Remember
Michael for his songs and his gift.

There, I said my peace about this issue. Late and all seeing as how his memorial
was yesterday, but still I needed to say it.

Be mad at me for liking him or not. I just wanted to say it.
Oh! The song I have stuck is Rock with you and now it is Billie Jean. Good Music!

Moving on!

Yesterday, was neat!

My Mom and I ran around a lot. While we were doing that, we watched the clouds build!
It was sooooooooo cool! Then it got darker and clouder as we were headed home.

Then it rained! How cool is that? It was great!

So, I'm still working on the pictures from my trip. I started to put a few up from this trip
and from when I saw "Stomp" with UB in May. So if you have a FB, go check them out.
Like I said, working on the Flagstaff ones still, so just keep checking back.

It is nice to have time off. Not having to wake up at the crack of dawn, rush around hurrying up
to finish getting dressed. Just time for resting and not stressing. It is nice. It is just stinky that I only have
one month of summer before orientation on the 8th and then school starting again.

The good thing is that it is my last year of high school!!!! WOOOOOOOTTTTTT WOOOOOOTTTTT!!!!!

I'm soooooo excited and can't wait.

Well I'm off!

Just wanted to stop by.
Oh!
Today is 07-08-09!
How interesting is that?

TTYL,
Caitlin

Very nice little tribute to MJ baby. I am sorry you missed out on the late 70's and all of the 80's of Michael. You would have LOVED him! I'm glad his music lives on! I can't wait to see your pics of your trip! I am still so excited you went!

Pleo 3.0 and Flagstaff!

Wow!

I gotta say now that I figured out how to work it, it is pretty sweet! I like the new look and feel. It is awesome!

Well, Summer has been pretty good! I went to Flagstaff with my Upward Bound peeps
last Tuesday and Wednesday! We went to tour the NAU campus and we stopped in Phoniex(I know I spelled it wrong).
We stopped and ate along the way at some cool places. The best part was we stayed at the Drury Inn. Chris, Mom and
I stayed there when we went to San Antiono and loved it there. Chris didn't want to leave. LOL!

Anywho!

We went to the Planetarioum in Phoneix and watched IMAX-like movies. They were about Black Holes and then our
Solar System. It was living up to its name of the Valley of the Sun. We were joking about jumping in this little
fountain they had at this outdoor mall we stopped at to eat lunch. Besides the heat, it was kind of fun stopping there.

Then we finally made it to Flagstaff around 6pm. The hotel was right next door to the campus, it was soooo cool!
We ate dinner at a chinese place and then went to bed for the following morning. We had this nice morning of presentations planned,
but they kept(they being our coorindinators) told us the times wrong and so we got a rushed presentation and then it was
lunch time!

Their cafertia was nice. They had healthy green foods in section and then the unhealthy foods on the other. They had fruits and
veggies and that's not the best part. Ok, so I know sweets are not good for you, but you should've seen their dessert bar!
They had everything imaginable from cookies to cake to this really cool Ice Cream thing they made to my favorite, brownies! It was yum!

Afterwards, we went on the neverending tour of the campus. It was H U G E!!! I thought I was either going to die or at least passout!
It got better when we were almost done with the tour, they made us climb like 3 or 4 flights of stairs to see a dorm room. It was crazy!

Then finally it was time to pack up and head home to Tucson town. I had never missed my home/my family and my room soooooo much!
I was glad to be back home!

Well that was my last Tuesday and Wednesday! It was pretty cool!

Well I am off! Gotta find my pictures and post them for you people!

TTYL,
Caitlin

I reacted the same way on my very first trip without my parents....other than visiting grandparents. Only I was 25! Cricket and I decided to go clear across the nation to LA by ourselves for TWO weeks!!! We didn't know a living breathing soul in LA. It wasn't until the plane touched down at LAX in L.A. that I got all misty and turned my head and started to cry...didn't want Cricket to see me! I was panic striken! What was I thinking about across country with a health problem and NO ONE to help me if something happened (Meaning no one with medical knowledge of me) I looked at me and then Cricket...you could knock us both over with one feather duster at the same time! I decided right then we were crazy and we were going to die. The a GOD THING happened. We were waiting for the shuttle van to take us to our hotel. I was still scared beyond belief. We got in the van and it was just the two of us and the driver. He was a black man and had some radio station on that the DJ reminded us of MAson Dixon, and we mentioned it to the driver. He said "Mason Dixon?? Where are you girls from?" We said Tampa and he smiled and said he was from Clearwater!!! We talked about home the whole way to the hotel, and I felt so much better...like we weren't tooo far from home and we would be alright. God has a way of going with you on your trips and vacations and knowing exactly what we need to get through any situation!

School and graduation had taken over my life. Then it was my Upward Bound classes after school till 3:35. Weird time I know. But I didn't make the schedule.

Anywho!

Now, I am back for the summer!

Today is my last day of classes for Upward Bound. So YAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY!!!!

I think I will just chill, relax and try to catch up on some reading.

Well just wanted to stop by and say Hey!
