FTX/ Birthday

SO this past weekend I was away on a little feild exercise with ROTC. Lots of fun, espically Firday. It rained and we had no tent or time to set up our poncho so I got to camp and hit the ground with it thrown over me. I was dry for about 5 min. Woke up shaking and soaking wet and said "This is why I joined, Man I love it here." and I was serious. Over all the weekend was great. Really a worth while expirence and It gives me more stories to talk about.

The other news, birthday is today, well really it will be in the morning but It's today in a way. yay! 20 good bye teens.

Well, unless if you live to be 113, then you can be a teen again. :P Happy birthday!

over a month

I do check my blog, beleive it or not, and every time I do I say to my self "Self, I should update that thing" and everytime I just end up getting sidetracked and going off to something else.

So tonight I've decided to do the very thing I havn't done in over a month.
I'll be Twenty in twenty days, thats pretty exciting. two decades and no longer a teen. I wonder what its like? I mean, look at all that I've done as a teen (eagle scout, Army, graduated high school) those are pretty big things. now I've got a whole new set of challenges to take on. Its going to be a good haul I can feel it.

So my first reserve duty is this weekend, should be "fun" even though I have no Idea what we'll be doing. More than likely it's more training. The Army seems to like doing that. OH! I've also realized that I have 3 years left here in FL. Thats right, once I'm gone from USF its off to where ever they want me. More than likely the hot spots. Who knows? I may not even have 3 years with all thats been going on. Also found out that I'm in till 2017, I'll be stinking 31 when I finally get out. thats crazy.

I've gone over a year now as a single guy. It's been intresting to say the least. You kinda miss it but then again you don't. Ah well, who knows, another challenge for the 20's.

ummmm... the new house is almost done, we should be moving in around thanksgiving time, by the latest christmas. Its really nice out there.

Well thats the news for now, I'll try to stay a little more on top of things and keep it updated. Hope all is well and untill next time. God Bless

Your own house, or your family's house? Oh, and what are you majoring in at USF? So, you're staying in the Army that long? Did you sign a contract or something? Happy early birthday! 20 is fun...but just another age, I guess. You still can't rent a car...lol, but I do always feel older saying "I'm 20", rather than 19. :) Glad you're doing well!

the twenties are better then the teens, you know more. I haven't heard from you in forever. I hope all is well. How do you like USF? I am glad that the house is coming together nicely. Tell the family I say hello.
