Let me know if you want me to do this for you!!

Sorry, I forgot about Pleo for a while. :-)

What if...
• You died:
• You ran away:
• You fell:
• You lived next door to me:
• You showed up at my house unexpectedly:
• You cried:

Would I...
• Keep a secret if you told me one?
• Answer the phone if you called me at 3am?
• Cook for you?
• Hug you?

Other Stuff-
• When and how did we meet?
• Describe you in three words?
• What was my first impression of you?
• Do I think you should re-post this as a new entry so I can have one done for me?

In other news, my life is a constant blur!! My constant line of thinking is: Where did 2011 go? "Therefore, brethren, make the most of your time, for the days are evil." (Paraphrase of Ephesians 5:16.) I can't stress it enough, do what's right, because we want to see you in heaven when that day comes!!! :-)

God Bless You!

Ethan

P.S. Have a Merry Christmas, and a blessed New Year. :-)

Hmm.. what should I name this entry?! :)

Hi all-

I am still around.. just temporarily forgot about Pleo. My spring has been like this:

May 2-7: Spring HS Campout.. saw the Gougars, whom I hadn't seen in ~4 years. It was great to see them, and everyone else. There were 85 or so people there.

May 19-23: We went to G-burg.. (our sister went too, but she doesn't have Pleo yet.. :))
Had a great time down there.

June 18: Went down to the Finger Lakes area for a wedding.. very pretty!!!

My future trips for this year are as follows:

July 2: another wedding.

August 5-8: Down to Northern VA for a gradution party.

August 12: Another wedding, then a Randy Travis concert.

August 14-21: Delaware County Fair, Walton, NY

August 21-27: Sons of Light Bible Camp, Evans Mills, NY

August 27: A wedding reception (the place where the couple is getting married is too small for everyone to fit in, so they are inviting everyone to the reception.)

September 3: Sugarland Concert, Syracuse, NY (?)

September 26- October 1: HS Camp, Jasonville, IN

Sometime in October: Fall Bible Forum, Gettysburg, PA.

And, on top of that, I'm working at the local library, and haying, etc on the farm!!

Have a blessed day!! I will try to update more often!! :)

I always have a lot of trouble naming my entries! It is so annoying sometimes when I spend like 10 minutes trying to think of something, then I usually just end up putting a smiley face as the title!! Fail, right?!?!

Sounds like you are super busy!!

Yay for HS Camp!!!!! =) Woohoo! I can't wait! I think it is 94 days till camp!! XD I am soo excited!

LOL

Eating Tips for the Holidays

1. Avoid carrot sticks. Anyone who puts carrots on a holiday buffet table knows nothing of the Christmas spirit. In fact if you see carrots, leave immediately. Go next door where they're serving cookies and milk.

2. Drink as much eggnog as you can and quickly. You can't find it any other time of year but now. So drink up! Who cares that it has 10,000 calories in every sip? It's not as if you're going to turn into an "eggnog-aholic" or something. It's a treat. Enjoy it!!!! Have one for me. Have two. It's later than you think. It's Christmas!

3. If something comes with gravy, use it. That's the whole point of gravy. Gravy does not stand alone. Pour it on. Make a volcano out of your mashed potatoes. Fill it with gravy. Eat the volcano. Repeat.

4. As for mashed potatoes, always ask if they're made with skim milk or whole milk. If it's skim, pass. Why bother? It's like buying a sports car with an automatic transmission.

5. Do not have a snack before going to a party in an effort to control your eating. The whole point of going to a Christmas party is to eat other people's food for free. Lots of it. Hello???

6. Under no circumstances should you exercise between now and New Year's. You can do that in January when you have nothing else to do. This is the time for long naps, which you'll need after circling the buffet table while carrying a 10-pound plate of food and that vat of eggnog.

7. If you come across something really good at a buffet table, like frosted Christmas cookies in the shape and size of Santa, position yourself near them and don't budge. Have as many as you can before becoming the center of attention. They're like a beautiful pair of shoes. If you leave them behind, you're never going to see them again.

8. Same for pies. Apple, pumpkin and mincemeat - have a slice of each. Or, if you don't like mincemeat, have two apples and one pumpkin. Always have three. When else do you get to have more than one dessert? Labor Day?

9. Did someone mention fruitcake? Granted, it's loaded with the mandatory celebratory calories, but avoid it at all cost. I mean, have some standards.

10. One final tip: If you don't feel terrible when you leave the party or get up from the table, you haven't been paying attention. Reread tips: Start over, but hurry, January is just around the corner.
