In the past four months, I graduated with my Bachelor's degree, got married, moved to Louisville, got a substituting job and found out we are going to have a baby. Life is moving quickly and sometimes being a bit surprising. But it is very blessed. :)
"The mind of a man plans his ways,
But the Lord directs his steps."

I will be home in about eight hours. Ready to be there and not at school. Ready to see my family. And ready to get more sleep.
Prayers for all who are traveling would be much appreciated.

Today I am thankful:
-for a
fiance that is the most patient person I know. :-))
-for a break from teaching.
-for a beautiful day!
-for friends who give you rides to the airport at 5:00 in the morning. :-)
-for rice. It is cheap, filling, and versatile.
**Every time I see the word "fiance", I think it is the word "finance". Can't wait to start typing "husband" instead. ;-)**

Emerson drove off to move to Louisville. And today, I get to see him again for the first time since he left!!! And I am very excited. Very. Still have to wait about 8 1/2 more hours. Have to stay busy.

Today I'm thankful:
-that Emerson is coming!
-that I have a break from school.
-that God is understanding and has patiently allowed me to work through some of my flaws.
-for leftovers (the food kind).
-and for you taking the time to read this. And puting up with another post about Emerson. I'll be honest, there may be a few more.

Also, there are several people whose last name I need to change. Guess it's been awhile. I don't know that I have much interesting to share. Oh, except that I'm getting married to
him next May. But other than that, nothing really. Hope all are well.

Today I'm thankful:
-for sunshine!
-that homework doesn't determine my eternal future.
-that Mr. Fannin is patient with giggly students, three in particular.
-for the McNabbs, who have become like my own family.
