My mom

Thank you all for your prayers! My mom came home today, but is still on oxygen 24/7 for a little while. She's apparently taking a little longer to recover from the anesthesia. She passed her walking test, though, so that is great news!

Ugh, anesthesia is horrrible! I hope she gets over that soon. Will she go to a therapy center to stay or will she just go for appts?

Therapy is coming to her for now because she has to stay at home until she sees the doctor in 2 weeks. They are coming this morning to assess her. Thankfully, she doesn't have to stay anywhere else for rehab.

Oh, I'm so sorry you're having to do the treatments again! Our nebulizer is always out and I keep the albuterol stocked. I take it with us when we travel, even if just an over night stay. Anytime Riley sounds congested he gets a treatment. Honestly though I've only have to use it a few times (before this last time with Croup) since he got tubes. I don't know if the ear infections were triggering the colds that were then triggering respiratory stuff or if it was just a coincidence. I think (knock on wood) that Riley and Hailey have finally kicked this last bought with Croup.

I really hope Katie gets better quickly! Seems like it's just been hanging on forever with her!!!! I'll keep you guys in my prayers!

Oh, for the cough, just before bed put vicks (regular strength, not baby) on the bottoms of her feet, then put her jammies or socks on. Sounds stupid but really knocks out a cough for some reason!
