Hello everyone,

I just have a few things to tell you.

There will be a high school Christmas party at the Smith's (Roger and Carol)on Friday the 21st. The party will be from 6:30-9:30 pm. Food will be provided!!! You are also allowed to bring a guest.

For the JH, you may be saying "what about us?" Don't worry, you get a party too! The Smith's are throwing a party for you on Sunday the 23rd. It will begin immediately after the evening service and will last until about 9:30. Food will be provided!!!

Our JH devotions and Bible studies will resume in January. Our first devotion will be on January 6th, and our first Monday study will be on January 14th. I will keep you updated on where these activities will be.

Hey Crew:

Sorry I have not updated in a while. Today is a special day. It marks 22 years that my poor wife has been putting up with me! Send her your condolences!

Junior High is meeting at the Smiths on Saturday from 2-4 p.m. for a movie and some fun. Talk to Shawn if you need more details.

The Taylors are hosting a Christmas party for the High School crowd tonight (Friday) @ 6:30. Don't miss it!

High School will also have a devo at Max's after the evening service.

Drake is speaking @ Buna Sunday night. His sermon is about faith. Give me a call if your planning to go. There is a chance they may change the time of services.

Sunday morning we will have a special service centering on the Lord's Supper. You don't want to miss it. It will be very moving.

Attention Grades 5-8:

There will be a junior high devo this Sunday night at Loresa and Marcus Rogers'. You guys will have the opportunity to tell me how bad I preached that evening! Guys bring the drinks and girls bring the snacks. I will bring my appetite! Be there or be square! Have a great weekend!

What a weekend! I'm totally exhausted. But I think we have a great weekend of study and singing. I hope you all had a great time and learned a lot about serving God. Would love to hear your thoughts. (David)

Teen weekend is coming up this week! Phil Robertson (remember him from camp TA-KU-LA?) will be our guest speaker. I've put the schedule on the website (www.dowlenroad.com). Click on the Dowlen Road Youth tab.

Also, we are all planning to go to Fuddruckers after the Friday night session. Put that in your schedule.
