So, there was this woman, that I knew from the catering company I work part-time for, that was murdered on Tuesday. She was from the Netherlands and husband was from East Africa/Kenya. They have a 5 year old daughter. Apparently, the husband got out of jail really recently, for immigration charges of some sort, he killed her and then killed himself. The girl was still at school when this happened. Because there are no next of kin in the US, CPS had to pick her up from school. It breaks my heart to know what that girl is going through. I had just done an event with her mom on Saturday. I spoke with the Officer today, who is handling the murder, and she said that they are having a tough time finding contact information for the woman's brother, who lives in Canada, and sister, who lives in Netherlands. Please know that right now I am not sharing the name of the mother out of respect, but please pray little Joli. From what I heard from her mom, while she was alive, is that she is very smart, artistic, and beautiful girl who loves to learn and be a creative and fun 5 year old. May God help her through this.
