Tomorrow on July 24th John and I will celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. It is so hard to believe it has been ten years already! Happy anniversary, my sweet husband! :) Come grow old with me; the best is yet to be.

Ben is going through a stage where he will put anything and everything in his mouth. We have to watch him very carefully and make sure there is nothing out for him to swallow. However, despite our best efforts, he managed to swallow one of my small diamond stud earrings yesterday morning before Bible Class.
Since then, we have been on diaper patrol hoping that "this too shall pass."

This was an article from the St. Petersburg Times Newspaper on Sunday. The Business Section asked readers for ideas on "How Would You Fix the Economy?" I think this guy nailed it!

Dear Mr. President,
Patriotic retirement:

There's about 40 million people over 50 in the work force; pay them $1 million apiece severance with three stipulations:

1) They leave their jobs. Forty million job openings - Unemployment fixed.

2) They buy NEW American cars. Forty million cars ordered - Auto Industry fixed.

3) They either buy a house or pay off their mortgage- Housing Crisis fixed.

All National financial problems fixed!!!

I have six boxes of unopened Gerber rice cereal (with mixed fruit & with bananas). There is no way Ben will eat all of this by the June expiration date especially since he is eating more finger foods now. Is there anyone that could use these? Or do you know of anyone that could? I just hate to see them go to waste.
