Hagerstown, Maryland

Late Friday afternoon I was told to tag along with one of our salesmen today and tomorrow in Maryland. I had no idea where I was going, just that I needed to take a flight to Baltimore at a certain time. I flew in this morning to Baltimore, and I was thinking how cool it'd be to hang out downtown, eat some crabcrakes, and do whatever cool things there are to do..
Instead, we rent a car and drive an hour and a half northwest to Hagerstown! Crazy. So right now I am in the sixth floor of my hotel staring at a JCPenney that looks like the outside hasn't been updated since 1970. Incredible fun it is :) It's not that bad though, just not what I expected. Maryland is certainly a beautiful state to drive through!

I passed by the Antietam Battlefield on the way to my hotel; maybe I can check it out on my way out.

My job so far is going great though.. I have other trips to Philadelphia, Atlantic City, and Baltimore scheduled in the next few months, so it should be interesting. And I think those are in the downtown areas in convention centers:)

Anyone heard of the band "PowderFinger"? I just started to listen to them, and I think their album may be pretty cool.
