Just an update!!

Hello ladies and gentlemen. I haven't updated in a long time, so I decided it was time to. Not a lot has changed since I last update. I still live with my parents. (surprise, surprise) One thing that has changed is my job. I now work at a cemetery. I am a Groundskeeper there. And before anyone asks, Yes, it does involve burying people. Someone has to do it, they don't bury themselves. It's not a bad job, in fact I really enjoy it, believe it or not. You just have to not think about it. I really like my boss and all the guys I work with. We all get along, which makes working so much easier. It's hard work and I definately earn my paycheck. It's not a perfect atmosphere, but I believe that it's one of the best atmospheres for a christian to be besides preaching or working at home maybe. I will be climbing one level on the totem pole. Tommorrow is someone's last day there and we will be getting a new guy and I won't be the new guy anymore!! :) Well, I believe that all I have for now. I hope you guys are all doing ok!! I haven't been seperated from Abby for a long period of time...Ever. I'm SO looking forward to this!! But, I must admit, I'll probably be ready to see her come Sunday!! lol Oh and Sorry to Ashley and David. For 3 dogs being in one apartment. Don't be afraid to pen up Abby if she doesn't behave.

Well, Someday, I might actually have a real update on me, but until I get a real life, it stays the same for me.

Well, I'm doing really great. It's been a little while since I said that, but lately I've been counting my blessings everyday and have realized how much God has truly given me. I know God has a plan for me and I have also been letting him guide me. And things really have worked out for me for the better.
As most of you know as I mentioned in my last post. I had lost my job and as you could tell if you read it that I wasn't all that heartbroken about it. Well God has been watching over me. Right about the time I got layed off a new store was about to open here in Columbia. It's called "Menards." It's like a Lowe's or a Home Depot. And they hadn't hired anyone except for the managers that came here from other places. So, I went in and filled out an application and for everyone that filled out in application that day also had like a "Pre-interview" or whatever you want to call it. Then they told me to come back and have an interview with the G.M. So at this point I knew I was at least being considered. Well, I went in to the interview with the G.M. and he told me that all he had open was part time and I figured that is better than nothing so I accepted it. Well I learned after I started that the likeliness of being promoted to full-time is very likely. So, I'm working part time now, but hoping and praying for full-time. So, that's how my work situation has panned out for me.
I don't have much else to talk about really. Well, I did go to the Ozarks on Saturday with Clayton Clark. (someone I go to church with here in Columbia) Oh, I forgot to mention I was pulling a trailor. haha Oh, I forgot to mention we had to cross the dam. Which is really no fun at all pulling a trailor. Let's just say my nerves were on end!! But we made it across and back safely. So, I'm thankful for that. haha
Abby is doing good. She was watching me type this, but she's moved on to bigger and better things, like playing with her toys and laying in the sun. haha She's a goof..not gonna lie.
Well, I guess that's all that's going on in my neighborhood. How about you guys? How are ya?

(P.S. Abby is now laying beside me agian, she doesn't know what to do with herself it appears. haha)

I had friends in town from Jefferson City weekend before last and we were going to check out Menard's only to find out it was open yet and then my parents said they were in there the next week on Tuesday and it was open. It looks HUGE!

Hopefully we will be under contract for a house by the time we get there this weekend. If so, can you go with me to Menards? I want to look around and get some prices. Are you sure it's ok to use your discount for your family? What do you/we have to do to get the discount?
