Jess and Cindy have gone back to work. Cindy is on 2 days/ wk. Jess is fulltime. We have gotten close to having Stephanie waking up only once nightly. It will be better for us all when she sleeps thru the night. At what age does this happen. The baby is now 7wks old. and is becoming more alert weekly. Cindy got the baby to say ( oh ) 3 times in a row yesterday. Wasn't Grammy happy. Before you know it the baby will be reading Cindy bedtime stories. Other than that, Danielle is still working at Subway and should have her license by Feb 15th. After that, she'll be able to drive herself to and from work....which will be a relief to the taxi service we've given her for the last three months.
I continue to be in pain w/ my degenerative disc disease. I have at least 3 vertebrae that grind on top of one another and it keeps me in alot of pain thruout the day. The 2 ortho drs. I've spoken w/ have told me that I'm not a good candidate for surgery as they would have to fuse an extensive amount of my lower back and I would lose all lower back mobility. We are hoping that SSDI will agree w/ the Drs. and place me on permanent diability. But as for now...we'll just continue to live Godly lives and pray knowing that God is watching over us all. Hope to hear what you all have to say........Rob.

You must be REEEEALLLY enjoying this grandbaby!! I'm no expert, but, I didn't think sleeping through the night usually happens for several months. But, it sounds like if Stephanie is down to one waking just once in the night, she's well on her way! -
Well, I guess it depends upon the baby and other factors. I remember Nora (bottle fed) sleeping through the night - which meant from about 11 pm to 6 am at about 6 weeks, but she's always been a real sleepy head. I'm sorry for all the pain you are in on a daily basis. I cannot imagine, no relief... Has being in pain like this somehow brought you closer to the Lord? I had menengitis several years ago now, and on the worse night when I was suffering very badly, I read the account of the crucifixion again; it touched me like no other time had. We will keep you in prayer. -
saw your note - good to hear from you! What's this about the Goose moving down here? Where down here? -
I know we're not exactly on your way to anywhere, but if you ever need 2-3 hours off, just let me know and you can bring her over. Abigail would be thrilled to get to "play" with her. (Mostly Peek-a-Boo.) -
I looked, and it's worse than I thought. The vinyl is actually missing, so it's really beyond any help now. Thanks though! -
Matthew here, we missed you at services today. How's it going?
