I figured that it was about time that I had a new entry.
Emma is in the play Charlotte's Web. She is one of the goslings. She is having the best time. She loves being up on stage and around all the big kids. We are having to reign her in just a little bit because she wants to give stage advice to the other actors. We keep telling her that she is not a director - in fact, I think she maybe the youngest kid in the play.
My pet peeve about the play practice is....why can teenagers not go 2 hours without texting? I was back stage with the goslings the other night and most of the teenages had their phone in their hand texting. I don't know how they are able to pay attention to when they are supposed to come out on stage (in fact, a lot of the times they missed their cues!!) One guy, even walked out on stage saying his lines and texting at the same time! If I was the director I would make them leave their phones in their bags during practice!! Okay, stepping off my soapbox now.
I have a boy-crazy 2 year old. She is crazy about one of the senior boys at church. All we hear is "My Matthew"!! Everytime we pull into the parking lot she wants to know where her Matthew is. All the way home, all we hear is that she wants her Matthew to come over to play with her at her house. The funniest thing happened the other day when I took her to the mall one morning. She kept saying, "My Matthew is going to wake up. Put on his clothes. Get in his car. Drive to the mall and hold her hand." I'm not sure what we are going to do with her!!!
I am very excited because in 1 & 1/2 weeks, I am heading to the Red Rooster Retreat for 3 days of scrapbooking and visiting with friends!! I have already gotten most of my stuff packed up and ready to go.

Since I am tired of scrolling past my pictures to get to my comments I thought I was time for a new entry. We are having a busy week this week. Monday, Emma went for her 5 year old check-up. I had been dreading this for a long time because Emma typically goes bezerk at the doctor's office. However, she did REALLY well. She was very apprehensive and was clearly not happy to be there, but there was no screaming or trying frantically to get away. Even the doctor noticed how much better she was since last time.
Yesterday, while Emma was at preschool, Lauren and I went shopping with Mom to get Leah's wedding present - which was an adventure. Today, the girls are going for a haircut. This will be Lauren's first time and I'm not sure how she will do. She says that she wants to sit in Granny's lap while Ms. Jane cuts her hair....so we will see.
Friday night one of Emma's preschool friends is going to be in the play, "Where the Wild Things Are". We are planning on taking her to see it....I hope it doesn't scare her. She tends to be skiddish about things like that.
Then I am sending my husband and two girls to Birmingham, because on Saturday I am having 8 friends over for us to Scrapbook the day away! I am really looking forward to this.....it has been awhile since we could all get together.
On top of all of this - I am trying to get all 160 notecards made for my sister to give as Hostess gifts at her Bridal Showers. I'm starting to think that being the Matron of Honor is a lot of work!! ;) However, I am getting a new Cricut cartridge out of the deal (Thanks
Mom!!) so I guess it isn't too bad! Your only
sister only gets married once!!

Here are some pictures from Emma's Princess Party on Saturday. I think that everyone had a good time.....especially the Birthday Girl!

Friday is her actual birthday. It is hard to believe that I will have a 5-year-old!! Thanks to
her post a few days ago, we found out that the Imagination Movers are going to be in Birmingham the day after Emma's brithday. We are going to surprise her and take her to the show! It will be fun to see her reaction. She had wanted to invite them to her party. :)

Here is my little Indian Princess:
and here are the cupcakes that I made for the Thanksgiving Feast today.
I think it is great that Emma is having such a good time with the play. Did they decided to let the goslings have more stage time? I hope so.
You are absolutely correct. LOL
There is NO doubt in my mind where Emma gets it from! LOLOLOL
It was so good to be with you at the RRR. Isn't it amazing how quickly it came and went? So glad I got to come for part of the time...
