Our Weekend

We had a great fun-filled weekend. It started off with us getting up at 4:30 (and yes that is AM) to go see the balloon races at Point Mallard. It is well worth getting up that early! It is truly an awesome sight to see 50-something balloons being inflated right in front of you and then to see them lift off into the sky!




Last night after services we some friends over for supper. We grilled out hamburgers and had homemade ice cream. I think that we all had a great time....at least I know that I did!! :)
Today, the girls and I are off to go spend the day at my parent's house. Poor Daniel decided that he would go into work today and defer his day off until next month...he is going to miss my Dad's excellent smoked chicken. :) I hope that everyone has a wonderful day.

    We have gone several years! Last year we saw the energizer bunny too! It was a fun time! Jonathan and I went our first time to see the balloons after we got married 1997...that would make it May 1998 that we went..wow 10 years ago! It was fun!

    I've been to this once...It is AMAZING!! I went to the thing at night where they light up the balloons...It is SO neat! Great pictures!

    I am afraid that the final move will be a long drawn out thing. But we got Janet and Pete a place to sleep when they move up next month. We'll call ya'll when an extra large load comes up.:)
