I have neglected pleo for so long! Decided I should do Facebook and Pleo since not everyone does Pleo.
With everything that is going on with Tennessee legislature, please pray that God's will be done and that our representatives do the right thing in regard to students and teachers. Remember, teachers' working conditions are students' learning conditions!

Just got back a little while ago from a gospel meeting in Franklin. Steven Deaton preached on the topic of faithful families, the husband and wife's roles in the marriage, as well as what the children's role is. He gave me alot to think about, especially what a faithful christian marriage should be.

VBS

Vacation Bible School is going so well! We had 80 in attendance today, up from 75 yesterday. Our topic is the life of Christ. The lessons are very well planned and are an in-depth study of Christ's life. I hope that God continues to bless our endeavor and to continue to use us as tools to spread his word.

New students

Our class roles were posted this afternoon so that parents could come by and check to see who their child's teacher is for the upcoming school year. There were parents lined up as early as 8:00 am this morning! I guess they are excited or are ready for their kids to go back to school.
I know I am ready!
