Our computer got a virus and has been down for a month. We had it all cleaned up at Best buy but couldn't get put back on so a friend helped us out and got it all up and going again. I've missed reading everyone's life stories. We are well and busy. Getting ready for a garage sale and really purging the home. I am getting rid of all my vintage Barbie stuff so I have been playing barbie dolls. It is fun but I forgot how much I had.

Back from the lake and I have been very lazy. It was just what I needed after having worked 2 months of long hours and another one to come. I found out just before we left on vacation that the new PT and I will be rotating every quarter in the Livingston area. That is where I have been working the past 2 months and it is a lot of driving and a lot on long days. They want to try to prevent burn out. I think 2 months is plenty long and may have to talk it over with the bosses. Anyway. We had a great vacation, much relaxing, a little rain which cooled things off a lot and good company. I really dread going back to work tomorrow after being so lazy for a week. HOpe everyone is well. Please pray for my good friend Juli Allen who is scheduled for back surgery this week..

As of 5pm yesterday I am on vacation!!! We leave tomorrow for a few days on the lake and I am so anxious. Thank you Lord for the wonderful rain we have had yesterday and today. I think we have gotten about an inch worth and our yard is soaking it in. I made sure I praised the Lord for it IS good!

I have been working some long hours over the past two months and a lot of driving and I am about worn out. This excessive heat is not helping either. We leave for a relaxing week on the lake (Toledo Bend) in a week and I am so looking forward to it. We will be sharing a cabin with one of Larry's sister's family and we look forward to some family time. Larry's grandmother is really no better. Healthwise, she is ok but she is not trying to improve her strength, doesn't care is she walks again or even goes home again now. She has refused therapy and enjoys her bed. It is discouraging but she is 94 years old. I just can't imagine that she doesn't care if she goes back to her home. I think she enjoys being waited on.
As many of you know Jessica broke off the engagement with Dru. He was heartbroken and it broke my heart to see him hurting so badly. I hope they will both be happy in the long run. Please pray for them both.
I had not posted in a long while and just wanted to put up a new one. Hope all are well. Praise the Lord always, give him the glory and Pray.

About 2 months ago Larry's grandmother, (we call her Mom) found out she had breast cancer. She is 94 years old and initially she thought she would not do anything about it but later reconsidered and decided to have a mastectomy. She was scheduled for the surgery and 2 days before the surgery (on a Sunday) she fell at Luby's and broke her pelvis very badly. They went on and did the mastectomy while she was in the hospital too. She did fairly well and was moved to a rehab facility by the end of the week. In less than a week she had developed pneumonia and blood clots in her lungs, so she was readmitted to the hospital, where she stayed for almost another week. She left the hospital and went to a different rehab facility in Round Rock. She has been doing fairly well but not eating enough and last week developed a low grade fever. They did an xray and found pneumonia was developing again. She was in pretty good health before all this. She was still living alone and taking care of herself. She did not drive. Her major problems were her vision and arthritis in her shoulders. We have been out to see her twice now and she is definitely showing her age. Please keep her in your prayers, she is not a Christian but it is never too late!
Did you sale all those barbie clothes? HA! Hope you all are doing OK!
