...I did it.

As most of you know I take Algebra and Biology in an actual classroom setting. I have a teacher, homework, quizes, tests, exams and fellow classmates.

My teacher is strict, my homework is stacked, my quizes are(incredibly) hard, my tests/quizes/exams are actually turned in for grades and my fellow classmates aren't helping me get to heaven.

If you didn't know, all these things are a first for me. Basically I've had a free ride through my education up until now. It was a culture shock going into this year and I didn't think it was going to be half this hard. I count the days until the weekend comes so I can be with my friends and try to forget what I learned over the previous week.

The cool thing about my teacher is the plan that she uses to keep the students' grades up. Basically if we have and A at the end of the year, we won't have to take the final:)

Biology wasn't a problem for me because there was no figuring out anything. You just know the answer or you don't. I passed Biology with a 96 and don't have to take the final. Algebra was a different story. Ever since I was a wee little boy, I hated anything that started with M and ended with ATH. I despised numbers and all the weird little tricks you can do with them.

I had an 86 in Algebra a week ago. My teacher gave us a whole lot of extra credit. I did just enough of it to barely pull my grade up to an A. So I don't have to take the final in either class.
