Is it just me or did all of my posts from the last 4-5 months get deleted?

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!

I did! It's been a great past couple weeks! After finals, my bro came up from FC to stay with us here in bg! It was good to be able to hang out with him for a while...

On the 18th, we headed up to Covington to see Angels and Airwaves play at the Madison Theater. It was incredible! I knew it would be good, but it was better than I expected! The music was just amazing live, and they have an awesome light show that coordinates with the songs. It's cool cause it was their last concert for their debute album We Don't Need to Whisper, and Tom said they were gonna start writing songs for their next album in 7 days! But yeah, awesome concert.
It's just something you have to experience to understand...haha

Then me and my bro headed down to Murfreesboro for the rest of the week. It was great spending time with my family! On the friday before christmas, we stayed at the Opryland Hotel! My grandma got all of our familys rooms for the night and the most amazing buffet breakfast the next morning!
It was cool to get to hang out with my cousins and walk around in the sweetest hotel ever...
and eat great food...hehe

Christmas was good! After we exchanged gifts with my immediate family at home, we went to my grandma's with all of the family! It was a good christmas, except driving back to BG in the rain in time to be at work at 5. But thats ok, it was nice having almost a week off leading up to christmas...

Theres a little recap of my last few weeks. Now I'm just working, until Jan. 2, when I start my German Winter class, which is gonna be sweet I'm sure. Hopefully I'll be able to go home again some time this month for my birthday before the spring term starts!

I gotta say, last week was probably the best week I've had in a good while...

Last tuesday, as soon as my last class was over, I headed home!
Spending the week with my family for Thanksgiving was so great...


Some highlights:

• Owning my last test of the week before going home
• Being surprised with delicous cookies
• Taking her to the airport on my way home
• Going to pick up my bro who flew in from Tampa!
• Mom's Chicken Tortilla Soup
• Catching up with my brother
• Getting to see her again
• Watching The Office with my family
• Hanging out with old friends from church back home
  
• Watching movies with my brother
• Seeing my cousins and other relatives
• Eating a ton of awesome food on Thanksgiving
• Realizing just how many great things I have to be thankful for; especially people
• Throwing the football and going on the traditional after-meal walk
• Making not-so-traditional prank phone calls with my cousins
• Meeting up with some awesome people in nashville
• Walking around Opry Mills and eating pizza downtown
• Having a great time exploring the Opryland Hotel
• Discovering that watching Prison Break is way better than studying
• Hanging out with some good friends at Applebees
• Going to see The Fountain



I wasn't quite sure what to expect from The Fountain, but it turned out to be really good! Its pretty complicated and a little confusing, but once you really think about it, its not too difficult to figure out.

Without giving anything away, its basically a really cool love story that really makes you think about Life, Death, and Love. Really well done...

Well, that basically recaps my week. Two more weeks of school and then its Christmas break!!!

Hope everyone had as great a Thanksgving as I did and don't study too hard for finals...

I suppose its time for an update, seeing as its been nearly two months now...

Things have been going really good! Really busy, but really good!

Im so excited about the fall...I just love this time of year! October is such a great month for weather! Its also a great month for scary movies. And so tonight were gonna start our traditional scary movie night marathon, running up to halloween! And man, what better day to start with than Friday the 13th?


So lets see, in the last month I've...

• Dressed up like a ninja with a bunch of guys
• Ran through Wal-mart's parking lot as...a ninja...
• Captured the now married Stuart Westphal while he was attempting to walk into Wal-mart with his fiance
• Had a ton of fun at the bachelor party
• Helped film their wedding the next weekend!
• Was backed into while quietly enjoying a Value Meal from Burger King
• Had some great religous discussions
• Dressed up for an X-Men 3 DVD release party!
• Wondered why it is still so much fun to dress up
  
• Wasted 6 straight hours of my saturday working on a project
• Worked on some music



Ever since I got my keyboard back in the beginning of the summer, I've gotten really interested in writing music. Well, I have several songs that I'm working on and decided I'd give you a little taste of one. Here is the first 1 minute or so of a rough demo of one of the songs.

In 2 weeks, were gonna have our traditional family bonfire/cookout! I can't wait to go home and see my family! Though its gonna be sad without my bro there. Its alright, Thanksgiving will be here before you know it...

At long last, my summer classes are over! While it was lame spending most of my summer taking classes, it turned out to be worth it, seeing as I owned both of them.

Things have been going really well!


I...

• had a great trip to tampa, minus a flight delay
• got to see two of my good friends get married
• caught the garder
• had an awesome time hanging out with nathan, jason, andrew, and taylor.
• owned my final
• had a great time hanging out saturday night
• saw one of the best movies in a long time, in a crowd full of loud highschoolers
• and then hit up the Great American Donut Shop at midnight
• followed by a run to Steak and Shake, where we played a game that resulted in a big mess
• got to hangout with good friends who just moved up!

Yep, good times. And now I have 2 weeks to enjoy life before the fall semester starts, where I'll be taking 8:00am classes every day and working at hollywood video till the early morning. Not good. But hopefully, I'll be scaling back my work schedule a good bit, so I can keep my social life.


So in the next two weeks, heres the plan...

• Drive to Murfreesboro Wed Night after church
• Spend some quality time with my bro
• Drive down to Tampa with my family
• Help him move in to C-Dorm
• Hangout with some friends
  
• Go to the beach(?)
• Come back to BG
• Learn some new songs, work on one I'm writing
  
• Hit up the 24hour Donut Shop again
• Hopefully go see Mae again in Lexington
• Finish Season 4 of 24

Should be good. Its wierd that I've been living here for almost a year now to the day! In some ways, it seems like I've been here for a long time; in others, it seems like just the other day we were moving in.

But its been great, I like bowling green and I love living with my best friends. Its great to have so many good people around, and its exciting having the next wave of fcers move up here!

I think this will be a good second year in bg... ;)
