Dang the whole money thing is a little overrated.

Things are going all right in the here in the STL, I just wish that Texas would go ahead and take over Arkansas and Missouri. I'm starting another job soon on the 15th at Costco whole sale, so Danny boy will be working two jobs and studying for his teachers certification. YEAH SON!!! Cara is really busy with her grad school classes and looking for jobs, I just can't believe nobody has hired her yet. She's more than qualified for her positions plus she's super duper cute.

Ozzie I still driving nuts, I surely hope he calms down as he gets older cuz he is CRAZY!!

Maybe someone could hire Cara to be a wife.

"And one of you will go on to become a great... mother." -Dwight

And you are still an idiot.

Texas is the most overrated place I've ever been. The people are overrated, the bbq is overrated, and your biggest landmark (The Alamo) is a place glorifying failure. Get over yourself, Texas.

Oh, and you'd better show up for football on the 24th. Do it.

An overrated anywhere else still could not compare to an underrated Texas. Just saying. ;)

And as for the Alamo, it's simple for us; If we can kill enough foreigners (non-Texans) a loss is still a win!

I do not remember the Alamo. Lol. The day we went there on vacation I was being bad and was like "this is so stupid and boring" I kind of remember a building, and it was hot outside, that's about it.

Also, I am not sure what you mean by that wife comment up there.... which is probably a good thing. But I do not think they would pay me enough.

Movin on UP

So I have officially moved to St. Louis, I have a job at the zoo that will hopefully lead to a position as a keeper in some area. Hopefully this will hold me over till I can get a teaching job. This move has not gone as smoothly as I wanted it to, and no I still can't move back to Texas.(Justin) The church here in Kirkwood is nice with good preaching by L.A. Stauffer and the singing is really encouraging.

But I really miss West Austin st. I miss the congregration, the preaching, and the "old folks" who were always encouraging with their longevity in the Christian faith. I pray that West Austin continues in growth, I hope they get to keep some of the people they have converted. It has always been heart breaking to see all the families that have been at West Austin come there and then have to sadly move away due to jobs and the other occurences of life. I'm actually one of those converts who had to leave, if it had not been for my almost year long study with Justin I don't know that I would have become a christian. ( And Justin might have been one of the few people who I could have possibly worked out the complexity of the faith with) I hope my life finds its way back there someday.

Cara and I might soon be starting a study with L.A. concerning marriage, this I think will be important in helping us understand our seperate role in God's institution. I'm sure there are a million CD series and lessons that have been made over this subject, and I think Cara has a series that is supposed to be really and we'll probably listen to that as well. But most importantly we need to look to our elders and their marriages as examples and be willing to humble enough to ask for advice, from the Lord and our elders. Pray for us as we study this.

On another note, L.A. had a really good sermon on Sunday night in which at one point he mentioned being servants. It made me think of John 13 when christ washed the feet of his disciples. I know that was an example of humility and serving our brethren and that it was a cultural thing due to all of the walking, but man I can't imagine washing another person's feet. Kind of wierd and awkward.

Funny. Either you did something really dumb and wanting everyone to know or you left your computer logged in to pleo around Justin and he posted this... which is doing something dumb...

uh?

What is Economic Entomology even about? I wish i could video tape one of my classes this summer featuring Dr. Gibson, it would make everybody immensely happy. The guy is crazy old and crazy spastic really nice though and still knows his stuff. I graduate in August!!!!! then off to find a job and join the work force so the government can leech even more money from me.

Things to do this summer:

1.) Visit the Beara as many times as possible and vice versa

2.) Try to establish a couple promising studies.

3.) Find a job before i graduate.(here or in missery) J/K beara

4.) visit Tiger Creek in Tyler

5.) lose 10 LBS by getting in peak physical condition.

6.) Make A's in my both my classes.

7.) Take over the world. (you know the usual)

How about anybody else? what are y'alls big plans?

Well Well

It has been five hole months since i last posted. I'm so close to graduating i can taste, but apparently my professors can as well so they think its cute to pile 50 cajillion tons of home work on us. I've read so many scientific journal articles that my eyes are bleeding. ( If anybody wants to know about Malurus cyaneus i can tell you.) I just finished listening to the novalization of V for Vendetta. it was awesome.

In other news Cara just got a new puppy, he's an english springer spaniel named ozzie. he's about 14 weeks old and is white and liver. And i still don't have that massiver German Shepherd i've been wanting for awhile now. Of course it'll probably cost a thousand dollars or more. guess i'll be waiting for a while.

The Dallas Cowboys are looking good again this time of year, even though we don't have a first round draft pick. We don't really need it, but my dream would to any combination of our 11 draft picks somehow to an early draft round pick for the 2010 draft and take Taylor Mays from USC. This is fantasy and i recognize it.

So i'm just wondering how the folks around these parts of the internet are doing?
