I've missed you Pleonast

It sure has been quite a while since I have posted on here. We actually might join the 21st century soon and get internet at the house. We definately want to keep in better touch with all our dear friends who live far away. We miss you and love you all.

It's been a busy summer for us. My brother Chris got married to his beautiful bride Mandy on June 27, Will and I were both in the wedding. It was a wonderful event. We bought a van and got rid of our Jeep Cherokee(goodbye 20's, hello 30's). We really like it and it provides much more room for us. Our little family went to Ft. Walton Beach for about a 4.5 day vacation on Labor Day Weekend. It was a much needed break and we enjoyed it so much.

Josie is 4 months now and the perfect baby. Great sleeper, great eater. She doesn't even fuss when she has a poopy diaper. She is a little porker too, up to 15 lbs. now. William will turn 3 on Oct.14. He loves his baby sister so much and always wants to hold her. It's really neat watching him grow into a big boy.

I don't have much else to say. I definately wanted to share some pictures. I like the slideshow method.

Those are great pictures! I saw your mom and dad at church here last night. It was good to see them! They seem great. Your mom was showing me pictures of the kids, too. Adorable!

It has been too long since we've seen each other. I think it was at Sarah's wedding... Can that be right?! Part of me is very interested in moving further south just so I can be closer to so many friends that I need to reconnect with. Either way, we need to plan a reunion! :-)

Last night we all went to the Drive-in to see UP. It was great! Amy, Will, and I really enjoyed it and Josie slept the whole time. It was so cute watching Will sit in the front seat watching the movie. As we were leaving he said, "That was fun". He fell asleep about a minute later :)

Josie is such a sweet little baby. She doesn't really cry very much. She sleeps all the time, is good little eater. She is already past her birth weight. We feel so blessed. Will really loves her and always wants to touch her and play with her, which has been hard because he has been sick most of this week. He has finally gotten over it though and are now fine with him touching "Baby Josie's" hands.

I've been wanting to write about some music I've been enjoying lately. I recommend the following albums for you music lovers out there...

- Fleet Foxes-Fleet Foxes(2008) - Sound a little like My Morning Jacket, but not as much guitar. A great driving cd.
- Flaming Lips-At War With the Mystics(2006) - I have it on my computer at work and it has been my musical obsession for the last 4 months. Amazing with headphones and turned up loud.
- Neko Case-Middle Cyclone(2009) - Another fantastic one from my favorite female singer working today. My aunt LeAnne and I are seeing her perform at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville next month!
- M.Ward-Hold Time(2009) - Folky indie-rock. He consistently puts out great music.
- Andrew Bird-Noble Beast(2009) - Multi-talented singer, violinist, guitarist, and whistler. He keeps getting better and better.
- Cotton Jones-Paranoid Cocoon(2009) - I've only listened to a few songs off this album, but I love it already. Kinda alt-country, someone also described it as wooden psychedelia. I look forward to listening to the whole album soon.

I love M Ward! We had an amazing storm here this week and I thought of you Curtis...you would have loved it. For a moment I actually thought the world was ending...I'm not used to seeing the heat meet the light in Georgia. Very cool.

2. I made the internet, check it out at cannonwire.com We went to a city council meeting last night for the first time, it was entertaining. I look forward to going to more of them.

3. Where are you sunshine? All of here in middle TN miss you shining down on us. It's been quite a while since I have seen this much rain.
