    There's still some junk at the apartment, I hope to finish moving it by Monday (I was saying Sunday but I had forgotten that I had plans Saturday).

    1) Finish moving all my stuff.
    2) Deep-clean the apartment.
    3) Turn in the apartment keys.
    4) Help a friend move into another apartment in the same complex.

A New Entry -- Shocking, isn't it?

So this is a little too much for a simple facebook status update ...

My car died today -- for some reason there is little or no current getting from the battery to the starter, locks, windows, etc. but the battery is not dead! I was lucky to have made it home before this happened but am now stuck at home tomorrow as it was too late to get a rental.

I have made more phone calls without talking to anyone today than I think I ever have before -- why is no one answering the phone?!?

4 calls to ask for a recommendation for a shop - 1 person answered.
3 calls to different shops - 1 shop answered.
5 calls to various people looking for a ride to work tomorrow/car to borrow until I can rent one - 1 answer (but WAY out of the way and not happening).

This has been a LOOOOOOONG afternoon/evening but now I get an unexpected day off tomorrow ... oh wait, no I don't: I'll be dealing with an auto shop, a mortgage broker, an insurance agent (who also doesn't return calls in a timely manner), and renting a car! UGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

    Ugh, I hate car trouble and then dealing with all the people needed to fix it. >. Maybe your connections are bad on your battery? I know with the Topaz that I use to drive even with a brand new battery you would still have to jiggle the ting sometimes to get the car to start. Turned out the connections were too oxidized and not connected well. So with a little elbow grease and $20 later the car ran much better. Still had to tilt the battery from time to time though. And yes, I know that is probably one of the least safe car practices ever. :)

It's been a while

... but I don't have much worth sharing. I'm at mom's for about another 30 minutes, then I'm heading home to get ready to go camping tomorrow! Spring Break is one of my favorite perks of my job. :)
