Compliment Someone Day

In no particular order....

I am going to compliment Jordan. He has all A's and B's on his report card.

I am going to compliment Charlessa. She has been doing great every morning getting up and taking a shower and getting to the bus-stop on time. I only had to drive her to school once and to the bus-stop once.

I am going to compliment Charlene and Sam. They have been getting to school ontime, and also making sure I sign their agendas and reading logs. Also Sam has been given bigger kid chores to do, and has been doing great (taking out the trash, feeding and watering pets, etc)

I am going to compliment Wyatt. He has a chore now- taking soda cans out to the recycling in the garage and he does it willingly. He also helps Sam put a new trash bag back in the trash can. Wyatt and David are doing good learning how to clean their room up. Wyatt has also helped put his clean laundry away.

I am going to compliment Mike. He has been working really hard to supplement his teaching salary. When he gets done teaching he usually has appointments lined up to sell roofs to homeowners. So far in the past month he has made 5 sales. Woohoo. Also he does auto unlocks when they come in.

Thank you to my family for the good things you do!

And I am going to compliment you! You look really good in those pics you sent. Also, I am proud of you for making the President's Club with Avon and working as hard as you did to get there! I am proud of you for working through your slump after the breakin, and doing what it takes! Hugs!

Sept almost gone

And man where'd it go? It's like someone has the Fast forward button pressed on my life. Slow down!

Things have been crazy! The kids have already been in school almost 9 weeks. They came home with progress reports already! Where does the time go? Jordan has all A's and B's which is great for him! (he is somewhat lazy).

I haven't been around blogging much because I have been busy working my business hard. They say if you work it hard for 2 yrs you can make it to Senior Executive Unit Leader which is my goal! I am 1/4 of the way there. I also have won prizes for reaching my first big sales goal too! I am very excited because this is a big accomplishment for me.

Update on the vehicle situation. My friend needed/wanted her car back so we shopped around and found a 93 Ford 15 passenger van for sale for $2,000. I drive this big bus around now. LOL Funny thing is we bought it from Edmond Christian Church, so you should see the looks when I show up at church! LOL Don't have the money to paint the van yet.

Today I was out putting out Avon books, and this guy looked at me funny and asked "Your church lets you use their van to do this?"I had to laugh and explain that we bought it from the church and are raising money to paint it. He seemed relieved. I do love shock value.

Stressful week to say the least

Last Tuesday morning Mike woke me up with news that his truck was gone. It appears they got into Mike's truck, (he has been forgetting to lock it) used the garage door opener, stole my purse off the kitchen counter and his digital camera. Ugh. I had my ID, debit cards to three different accounts, social cards for me and all six kids, and check books, $3.00 cash and I believe some Avon checks, and WIC folder....in other words my life. I road Charlene's bike down to the bank Tuesday morning to change over the accounts. Some money had hit two of the accounts at Midnight- I didn't want them helping themselves. Then I rode the bike over to the tag agency to get a replacement license. Man I look terrible on the new picture. Anyway, we had filed a police report right away. Thankfully we were unharmed but we feel violated, and I think I am suffering from post traumatic stress cause I have just been a mess. As physically exhausted as I am I lay in bed worrying or wondering. I think how if I hadn't slept so sound from the menial labor or mowing our overgrown lawn, I might have wakened like I normally d0- I am a light sleeper, and I might have been shot at. Charlessa had slept on the boys floor and she said she went to her bed around 2am. I think how she could have scared the bad guy (s) and gotten killed. I think when they had the nerve to go out our deadbolted and chained front door it probably woke her up. I am not a materialistic person nor a paranoid person, but I have to say I am very edgy right now, and I am so angry that they came in our house, and walked...I mean drove off with stuff we work hard to have. I know we are thankful to be alive, considering other people's fate in the same situation. I know we have angels watching over us, that's for sure. Anyway, I talked to a detective today, and it sounds like unless Mike's truck turns up abandoned somewhere- that they are disecting it for parts. The only clue we may get to who did it, is if they try to pawn Mike's digital camera. We happened to have the serial number. Fingers crossed XX

So that stress put with my record breaker campaign with Avon (I doubled my previous order!) I am wooped!

Wow - glad you are safe! That would be a very creepy feeling knowing someone was in your house going through your things while you slept! Yikes!!

Show the troops you care- send them a "touch of home"

Here is a wonderful opportunity to express your gratitude to our brave service men and women deployed overseas.

For only $10.00 you can sponsor an Operation Avon-USO Cares Gift set which the USO program, Operation USO Care Package will deliver to troops serving abroad.

The gift set includes five indispensable toiletry items and can also carry a personal message of encouragement from you!

In addition, Avon Products, Inc will give $4.00 of your $10.00 to the USO to provide emergency relief programs, family assistance activities, entertainment tours and more.

There is no limit to the number of gift sets you can send, so support the people who support you--the men and women of the US Armed Forces.

The $10.00 actually buys 2 sets so if you can only afford to do $5.00 we can find someone to cover the other half so two sets will be sent.

If you would like to participate in this, please email me. You can pay via check, USPS money order, paypal or RME. Feel free to email me with any questions.
