Moving on...
So I'm now working in a different job. Sort of. I've transferred to the Paris Pike Kroger Pharmacy. And I should be getting full time here soon. I'm currently working Monday through Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm. More benefits. Better pay. Longer drive. All that good stuff.
Before I transferred, I was initially warned that I would be working in, let's just say, a less desirable end of town. I will have to agree with that to some extent... except it seems that our store is much less busy, there is no drive-thru bell constantly ringing, and almost all of our customers are friendly old people (as opposed to demanding yuppies). So honestly, I don't mind the location. There are always the ne'er-do-wells requesting early refills on their controlled substances... but you pretty much get that anywhere.
Even so, I'm still not excited about January. Sure, it's a new year. Blah Blah Blah. That just means I'm going to ask every one of my customers if they have new insurance up until about March or so. And then try to figure out how to bill them. At least now I've got another year or so's experience under my belt. And I'm not trying to do it at the drive-thru with 5 cars waiting in line behind.
Fun times all around.
