I'm not for government RUN healthcare, and that's not what Obama is for, either. He wants to offer an alternative to what is in place. However, McCain wants to TAX what is currently in place, which will only decrease the benefits we currently get. Obama just wants to create something for people who CAN'T get benefits through their employer.

And how would people get what they need if not from the government? They wouldn't. People are not generous enough for the needs of our country. We're greedy. We want every cent of what we make, and we don't want to give for any greater good. Thus, the government takes money to use for ALL of our greater good.

I took a drug test today for the City of Temple Terrace.
These people are thorough.
I filled out a background check awhile back, they checked everything.
I took a polygraph, they asked me almost anything you could possibly imagine.
They got nothing on me.

Honesty is wonderful.

My father was just admitted to Tampa General.
He's got an infected hernia. Ouch.
He'll be staying the night at least tonight and maybe tommorow.
The pains pretty bad, I haven't been up there yet. Keep him in your prayers if you don't mind. I'm not quite ready to take care of my mother yet.

This is very important.
Clinton, Lieberman, and some guy from Indiana are trying to pass a law bringing criminal charges against people who sell video games to minors. The link above goes to a site that will help you to send a letter to your senators with minimal effort. (You don't even have to pay postage)

The letter that is sent on your behalf states that the current systems of ratings is sufficient in warning parents who buy for their children of the games content. Furthermore, it states that Video Games should be given the same treatment as all other forms of media like cable TV, movies, music, things like that.

I know it sounds whiny, but it's the right thing to do.

(Oh, and the proposal is completely unconstitutional)
