Food for thought

If you had an appetite, . . . wouldn't any food suppress it? Well, with the possible exception of Chinese take-out, but I think you get my point.

I saw your reference to Internet Archive.org and checked it out. I am curious though on if episodes can be downloaded or just streamed?

Thanks. Using my inate technical skills I revisited the issue and solve the problem. I just had to scroll down farther on the page. (Hate it when that happens.)

Hispanic Panic

Your tax dollars (albeit diminished by 40% since 2002) at work. What next? Too many Jews in the synagogue? Too many Chinese in Chinatown?

Tis the moon

Today I went to one of my favorite spots on the Web: The Internet Archive. It truly is one of my favorite sites, even though I only go there a few times a month. It's an awesome site for old movies and OTR (old-time radio).

While I was there, I saw a link for a movie titled The Brother from Another Planet. It sounded awful, so naturally I had to click it. There was also an IMDB link for it, which I clicked to see what the movie was all about. The only user review began as follows:

"The Brother From Another Planet, is about an African American alien who crash lands on Earth in Harlem, in New York City."

How could an alien from another planet be considered African American? I thought that Planet Earth had exclusive rights to both Africa and America.

Stay tuned for my next blog entry. It should be better than this one...and better than that movie!

One good promotion deserves...this one?

I'm a little late in posting this, but no matter how you read it, this is an alarming advertisement.

There is a MT CLemens in Michigan. I wonder if it is the same one. They NEED to start selling more cars there, so I guess anything is an excuse for a sale!

Wow. One time I tried to put as much fuel in my car as possible, but after about a gallon of topping off I squeezed the trigger one more time and gas gushed out all over the place. So to regularly put in that many more gallons is impressive.

It's good to have a place to come to for laughs in the middle of the night when you can't sleep because you fell asleep right after work and woke up at 11pm. This would be that place.

that is probably why I will go there. It is heavy with FC alumni and I don't want to go so far away from home. At WKU I can be home in 2 hours. IN APril I will find out if I am a Governors Scholar which would give me 4 years of instate tuition, but it is not easy to get.

thank you and yes, routine but with risks. I guess it depends on experience of the doctor and time and chance..
Our friend and preacher Paul Ayres went in for a routine hip replacement and they cut his femoral artery. 25 pints of blood later and he left the OR clinging to life.
