wow, so it's been a while since I've updated on here....

Well, not a whole lot of new news really. Finished the semester with a 3.0!! Very excited about that. I'm doing my internship this summer and taking another class. I will have to start getting up at 6AM!!! Durring the summer!!! Not really my cup of tea, but I really want to graduate next May! Alright, well other than working and dealing with an incredibly annoying roommate, everything is going pretty good!!

Sooooo, I did get a new job! I'm starting my training this week at a mortgaging company that one of my S&K customers owns. My title will eventually be a loan officer...if all goes well, this could eventually turn into a life long career for me!! :) So, after next week, no more S&K for me and no more working Sundays!!!

As some of you may know, my Gran (Mary Powell) has been in the hospital for at least a month now. She continues to struggle to get her health and strength back to normal. Currently she is on a respirator(?) and heavily sedated while the doctors will start treating her for some blood clots. They believe that she had a stroke a couple days ago but it doesn't look like it has caused damage. So, I just ask that you pass this info along to everyone you know so that we can get more people praying for her!!! Thanks so much!

Brittany, we are sorry to hear of your loss. I lost my grandmother when I was 14. That was very hard for me. My other grandmother lived to be almost 101, a full life. We will keep you and your family in our prayers.

Busy Busy Busy

Wow....talk about being behind!! I need to catch up on things....

Well, this semester is finally over...it's been extremely busy. I work at S&K Menswear now, so I've been adjusting to a somewhat new job and a new semester. On top of that, it's been easy, but hard, to get used to not having your parents so close in distance anymore. Cameron is transfering to Lander, so now it'll just be me here in Columbia!!! :(

This month that we have off from school will be nice. I'll have a lot of time to work and hopefully save up some money for next semester. And get lots of REST!! Me and Cameron leave Saturday to go home for Christmas and will come back on the 26th. It'll be a short trip, but I'm sure it will be lovely!! And we'll finally get to see Gran who we miss dearly! It's been so good to hear that she's doing better...God really does answer prayers.

Well, I suppose that's it for now...HAPPY HOLLIDAYS!!
