So close and yet so far

You know when you are having a conversation with someone and there is this really deep connection? And then they say something and it's like, wow i have no idea what you're talking about...

The other day I was talking to my friend and she let it slip that she was paranoid about people breaking into her house. Well that opened the floodgates to us talking about all sorts of crazy things. It went something like this:

Megan: So I'm paranoid that someday someone will break into my house and kidnap me.

Me: Me too! That is one of the reasons my covers have to cover my feet because if they're not I think that someone hiding under the bed could grab them and I would be defenseless.

Megan: Weird, I think that all the time! Do you check behind the shower curtain every time you sit on the toilet in the bathroom too? You know, just to be sure.

Me: Yeah! I've started checking before I actually go to the bathroom because if you check while you're going and there is something there, your options are pretty limited.

etc etc... (for about 15min)

Megan: I know! And have you ever been so scared in the middle of the night because you think you hear something that you pee in a mountain dew bottle that you have next to your bed because you don't want to go to the bathroom?

Me: Ugh...no! Man. We were doing so well...




In other news, I'm coming up to New York this weekend and am pretty pumped!

I was my pregnant sister for halloween. BEST COSTUME EVER!

I got to skip everyone in line for food and just kept saying "I need food cause I'm pregnant."

I actually succeeded in confusing a few people that kept honestly asking when my baby was due.

    I was a.......well, I wore an orange skirt, a black shirt, a black shroud-like thing with silver spiderwebs on it, my black ankle boots, and I made my face look dead and clammy by putting on lots of face powder and bright red lipstick. I also put black stiches beside my eye and on my left cheek by using eyeliner.
    I got interesting reactions from the kids. =P

I watched a meteor shower and will be watching (well more like hiding from) my sister having a baby.
