I was recently told by someone my age that they would like me if they were 7 years younger.
And I'm left wondering...just what on earth does that mean?

I can still spell Fire In Cairo really fast!

Life in NY has been wonderful, tiring, uplifting, and full of snow!

I miss my family and hate how fast nephews grow.

My new favorite part of the day is Nap time!

I hear you on nap time. Best part of the day...when I can get them. =)

oh I so want to visit New York and see everybody! Give 'em all a shout for me. =)

Get this, these apartments originally had french doors, they were no longer in the apartment when you saw it with us all gutted out. When they started the renovation, they built up the wall, so they could have a single, solid bedroom door. We were disappointed and thought that was dumb, and it helped us not be too disappointed not to live in the apartment since a lot of the light and view would be blocked off anyway. Then just a few days later, when we snuck in to peek, they had taken down the wall and begun to install french doors!!! I think that's when we both knew we had to live here! And btw,we do have little sheet curtains that we throw over them when we have guests so i'll be sure to get them out next time! ha

Marriage is what brings us together today

I've decided that I'm going to make fabric flowers for my wedding.

Ok so I'm not engaged yet...or dating anyone...or even trying very hard to date...but when I do get married, I think that would be cool.

Also, Stephanie Nichols is getting married!

I thought I'd be sad to see all my best friends get married off, but turns out I'm too happy for them to be sad. I didn't expect that!

we dont expect so many of our blessings...I think that makes them even better...
    also,
I believe it's pronounced "MAWAIGE" ... or last by the priest guy in the movie ;)

In the words of Elvis..."Thank you. Thank you alot."

I'm just so excited.

I'm moving to New York and for the first time it doesn't sound like a crazy idea.

Pickin up Daph in Kentucky. Seein Face Head in DC. Then on to wintercamp!

I'm starting to compile some good road trippin music.

Any suggestions?

  • gemma
Ah, I thought it was "Thank you, thank you very much." That is so cool you're moving to NY!! I want to move to the northeast sometime. I love it up there.

lol! okay. =P Thanks, I hope I'll live up to that list. =) And actually that bed spread isn't for me. I've got a friend in mind to give it to but it's a surprise. So I guess I'll just see if she wans it and if not I'll see if someone else wants it or use it in my own room. It's been fun working on it though. =) It's so huge! =P I'm watching movies while I work on it so it's not complete silence.

What kind of music do you like for trips? Maybe I'll have some for you? =)

OK, so we're really old, but we had our first car CD player when we bought the Honda to move here. So we didn't have too many CD's, but we listened to Carly Simon's New Jerusalem, which is the soundtrack song to the movie Working Girl and it's about NYC. We turned it on every time we crossed a state line on the trip and had it BLARING as we crossed the George Washington Bridge.
