Its been a while, I know. But here's a picture update from Labor Day. We went to the Chicago Botanical Garden. It was hot that day.

Here's a couple of videos Rachel took of Elijah being silly.

We had the ultrasound today too. Things look healthy! Please pray that Rachel's pregnancy goes well!

Elijah seems like a good entertainer! very cute!! so glad everything is going well with Rachel and the baby.

Glad all is well-- when I move to Indiana (start Jan 08), we gotta get some Astros-Cubs tickets and I'll be up there. Or, I can go to the game and then come see y'all after the game. I don't remember if you're a baseball fan or not.

Thank you so very much for the lesson this morning. It was extremely edifying. A good reminder of why we're here, and what's most important. I know what you mean about the realization that they have souls........it is an AWESOME responsibility. And I don't use that word "awesome" lightly. Anyway, I'm rambling. I don't like viruses.
I never have, I never will.
I don't care what form they come in.
I wouldn't even like a cheese virus.

Grainger got hit with a virus on Tuesday.
Grainger lost about $500,000 every 4 hours our systems were down.
I worked until 2:30am that day.
I worked until 1am Wednesday.

I think the viral infection is at least somewhat contained today.

I've been configuring Cisco switches all morning. I've been struggling to trunk two of them. One is much older than the other. I set the older one to dot1q encapsulation and it's still giving me fits. I figure you don't know exactly what I'm talking about, but you gotta admit that it sounds kinda cool.
