Help Wanted
As I stated in my last post, Kaitlyn wants a Littlest Pet Shop theme birthday party. I'm having a little trouble thinking up games for the kids to play. The kids will be mostly ages 2-4. So, does anyone know any fun animal type games that would be for for 2-4 year olds?

Happy Birthday two days late Girly-Girl! I hope she had a wonderful Birthday Sis! :) I thought of her on Sunday. We took the boys after services for a special birthday surprise for Jonah. We were going to ride the steam train, but it was an hour and a half before we saw the train. Something was wrong and it was running really late. It only left us an hour of exploration at the destination before we had to turn back around and ride it back and go to worship in the evening. So, we had to exchange our tickets and will try again at a later date. The boys were sad. We wasted our whole afternoon waiting for it to come and didn't get to ride. Ah well, hopefully it will be working the next time we go.
Time to update again... :o)
Current Events:
* The count down has begun: 9 days until summer vacation. :o)
* Katie turns 5 in a few weeks. She really wants a "Littlest Pet Shop" party and even though they are extremely popular, no one around here sells "Littlest Pet Shop" party supplies. I'm sure we'll figure out something.... but any and all suggestions are welcome. :o)
* Hannah's soccer team was schedule to play 3 games last week (Tues, Thurs, and Fri). Thursday's game was rained out (even though all the girls showed up to play) so we're still waiting to see when they will schedule a make-up game.
* Last night was my first class meeting for "Research Methods." The class meets for 4 hrs, twice a week. :o( At least it's only a month long and when I'm finished, I will be FINISHED. No more classes... for a very, very, very long time. :o)
* The week following my final exam (the first week in July), my family and I will be heading to Richmond for the week. I was selected to be a part of the "Standards of Learning Revision Committee" for 5th grade mathematics. The department of Education is paying for the hotel, food, travel expenses as well as a stipend. I figure, as long as I'm getting a free hotel stay for the week... why not bring the family along?
* My next dr appointment is this Thursday. I'll be 18 weeks along so I'm sure they'll want to schedule an ultrasound soon. Who knows? Maybe we'll get lucky and be able to find out the sex of the baby in a few weeks.
Well, I guess that's all the updates I have for now. :o)

Avoiding...
Ok, so I'm totally avoiding finishing my homework right now (a decision I'm sure I'll be regretting later) but I thought while I was avoiding my real work, I'd get on here a do a quick update.
I guess I should start with the biggest news first... Brian and I are expecting our 3rd child sometime this November. My due date is November 5th... but we all know how that goes. Hannah is very excited and talks about it all the time. Katilyn is still trying to figure everything out.
Hannah is doing very well playing on the girls soccer team this year. Her coach has her playing forward... a position she's never played before. She's really good at strategy though. She tries to get ahead of the ball and position herself in a place where her team mates can pass the ball to her. Unfortunately, her team mates haven't quite figured out that out yet. So far, it's been a pretty good season and the more they get to know each other, the better they'll be able to play together.
I can't believe that Kaitlyn will be turning 5 soon and that she'll be ready for Kindergarten in the fall. I feel sorry for whatever teacher she gets next year because she is still so particular about how things are supposed to be. Her clothes have to be perfect and free of "wrinkles" and even the sheets on her bed have to be perfectly flat before she can go to sleep. I keep hoping that this "wrinkle" thing is only a phase but aren't phases supposed to go away after a while?
Well... I've avoided my homework long enough... I need to get back to work. This Saturday is my LAST class and graduation in on the 17th. I can't wait to be finished. :o)

The particularness of our children must be a hereditary thing. Noah is exactly the same. His quirks of things having to be exactly one way drive me crazy. If you don't do it exactly right, you can expect a MAJOR meltdown. Socks in the shoes have to be perfect, his sandwich has to be made exactly right, clothes have to be on exactly right, and I can go on, but his picky-ness takes a toll on the day and you. I feel ya. Maybe it's the age? Although I ~love~ the age 4 over age 2 anyday!!!

Congratulations on the new baby! Maybe you'll have a boy this time? Anyway, this is exciting. Especially, since my brother is also having a baby due this November. Again, Congratulations!
6 weeks and counting...
It's been so long since I've updated this blog that I hardly know what to say. Things have been very busy... but not very interesting. So, here's a couple of quick little updates of what is going on in our world right now:
I'm down to my final 6 weeks of grad school. I can't believe the end is already here! :o) This has been a very busy semester for me trying to juggle everything but soon it will be over and I'll finally be finished. I'm still trying to decide if I want to participate in graduation... but I still have a few weeks to decide on that. (BTW- one of my last assignments is to write a technology lesson dealing with the Pythagorean Theorem. If anyone has an ideas... fell free to send them my way. :o)
Hannah's soccer season has just started back again. We decided to try an all girl team this time instead of the co-ed team she was on before. It'll be interesting to see how she plays with just girls. She's also one of the smallest kids on her team but I'm hoping that her skill and confidence will make up for what she lacks in size. :o)
Well.... that's all for now. Maybe I'll be better with my updates 6 weeks from now. ;o)

I bet you are excited to graduate. I know you've been working towards this for some time now, and it will be a nice *break* for you, before you move on to something else that'll take up your time. ;o)
No suggestions on the lesson, you are on your own for that! whew.... Math is just not my forte.
I'm sure Hannah will be fine... it's the small kids you have to watch out for. They usually are quicker. Kyle was always good at running and getting things fast, because he was smaller than everyone else. -
Sean put the cart before the horse on this one.... they just got married last week and she's a couple months pregnant. The funny (not ha ha funny) is that although this is wife #3, both of his first marriages were scriptual divorces (adultry on the wives parts). But, he still will not become a Christian. It's very frustrating for us - but if you remember Sean, he is VERY strong willed...

Somehow I missed your big announcement! Congratulations!!! How are you feeling? You're due not long after me.
