Well it's been a few of weeks since I've posted and tons of things have happened! Life is going at a turbo speed....and sometimes I wish it would just slow down!!!

I finally finished Pride and Prejudice! YAY!! I loved it so much!! I'm not going to lie though....I had spark notes bookmarked just to make sure I was understanding :D My English teachers would be so proud!! Now I'm going to start My Sister's Keeper. I'm really looking forward to it, and know it will be a tear jerker for sure!

This week was VBS and it has been great! I taught the pre-Kindergarten class and had 8 kiddos!! Talk about lots of energy..phew!! But it has been great! They are so excited to learn and give the cutest answers!

This summer the ladies Bible class is studying The Beattitudes. I haven't ever really done an in depth study and am really enjoying it. Our class is considerably smaller since it is the summer time, but the comments and conversation are still encouraging and needed. I have loved it!

Last weekend Katie Beth came and spent a few days. It was so much fun and very needed. We had a total girl day, stayed up way too late, and reminisced. It is so weird thinking about all the things that have happened these past 3 years. I have had so much fun, learned a lot, and changed quite a bit. It has been a good 3 years. Now we're about to be seniors and I feel so....I don't even know lol...All the students who were here when I was a freshman are gone or leaving and it's hard to say good bye. Courtney just moved and we are sad to see her go. But Court-I'm so happy for you and wish you the best!

I'm going home this weekend and my mom, sisters and I are taking Keller to the zoo. I am so excited and can't wait!! Dad is starting (hopefully) his last round of chemo this coming week. Please continue to pray for him and thank you so much for all the kind words and support!!

Wow!! I cannot believe it is already June!! May was pretty fast!! I hope everyone had a great weekend!

Christina and Kyle's wedding was beautiful! It was such a beautiful day and everyone was so happy! It was fun being with a bunch of College Station friends again! It was kind of coincidental that I have been reading Fireproof and then went to a wedding that same weekend. Fireproof is about a marriage that is falling apart and how the husband is trying to save it, and in doing so, realizes that it takes God to make a marriage work. I know I'm not married yet, but it is very obvious when a couple has God as their focus and foundation. I am very appreciative of all the married people I know who set such a good example for me!

Now I'm going to try Pride and Prejudice! Love the movie...second try on the book. Wish me luck!!

Dad started his fifth out of sixth round of chemo today. Please pray for him and my family.

Well, after a literally 2 year hiatus I have decided to become a more dedicated member of pleonast!!! It has been a super long time, but I'm back!!! There are 2 reasons why I have decided this. 1) It's summertime and I am officially done with college classes for forever so I figure I can now spare the time and 2) I have recently become quite nostalgic. So many of my dear friends are moving, Laura and I have to move to a different apartment so my dear Katie Beth will no longer be my roomie, I graduate in December, and have absolutely no idea where I will be in 6 months!!!! This all has been playing on my mind the past few months and so every moment counts and every memory has become well...more meaningful. And I know pleo is a great way to keep in touch with all my friends.

I am very excited for this summer as it will be the first summer in 4 years that I will not be taking summer school! YAYAY!! I have been spending my time babysitting my baby Keller, my sweetie Matthew, and the lovable Rhodes. How wonderful is that!! We've also been busy bees working on Vacation Bible School stuff! SO far we're doing pretty good and making a lot of progress. And of course, I've been reading!! I absolutely love to read and am so thankful to have the opportunity this summer!!!

I hope everyone's summer is starting off great!!! Looking forward to Christina's wedding this Saturday! CONGRATS CHRISTINA!!

So I've been asked to update, and I think it's about time! I'm spending my summer at home in good 'ol Belton, taking biology and babysitting like crazy! The babysitting I don't mind, of course, but my biology class is insane...4 hours a day!! I'm also reading Harry Potter this summer! I just finished the second one and cannot seem to put the third one down :D I'm glad to be home this summer, but I have to admit that it gets pretty boring here!! I haven't been able to go out to the pool yet, but hope to all next week...if it doesn't keep raining.

Last weekend I went to College Station for a mini vacay and had the BEST TIME EVER!! We went to VBS, shopped for the duplex, went bowling, did a bunch of chit chatting, sang songs to each other, hehe, watched a horribly scary, gross movie, and practiced self defense, lol!! Seriously, one of the best weekends ever and I so cannot wait to move back!! I LOVE MY FRIENDS!!! And I can't wait to see everyone in a couple weeks at the softball tournament...it's gonna be fun!!

This Sunday is Father's Day and I still need to get my dad something...hmm...I think I'm gonna need my brother's help on this one. I am, however, making a "Perfectly Chocoloate Chocolate Cake" for him, and I'm pretty sure he'll love that since he loves all things chocolate!

Right now me and Cody are watching Barnyard and it's cracking me up! I love watching movies, especially funny, girly ones (and not scary, gross ones like Texas Chainsaw Massacre...you silly boys!!!!) I am truly and completely amazed by all the wonderful christian friends I have made here this past year!! You guys are all such an encouragement to me...each and everyday I am so thankful to have come here and met everyone! The most recent incident that has left me speechless is the extreme generosity and thoughtfulness of everyone who gave me a new camera. I think it is the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me, and I'm not allowed to know any specific people...so this is my best attempt to thank everyone!!! If you guys are so thoughtful and caring over material and worldly things...like my camera...I can't even begin to imagine how much yall care about all our souls and relationships with God and one another! It's mind blowing and I still haven't gotten over it! I am going to miss being here with everyone so much this summer and can't wait until next fall!! You guys are so great!!!
