Ecclesiastes 1:9 What has been is what will be, and what has been done is what will be done; there is nothing new under the sun.
SONNET 59 by Shakespeare
If there be nothing new, but that which is
Hath been before, how are our brains beguiled,
Which, labouring for invention, bear amiss
The second burden of a former child.
O, that record could with a backward look,
Even of five hundred courses of the sun,
Show me your image in some antique book,
Since mind at first in character was done!
That I might see what the old world could say
To this composed wonder of your frame;
Whether we are mended, or whe'er better they,
Or whether revolution be the same.
O, sure I am, the wits of former days
To subjects worse have given admiring praise.
It's summer break and we're broke.

Not a whole lot going on here. Mainly just enjoying the little comforts of home: fully bellies, warm blankets, good smelling candles, family, pets, games, and movies.
Hoping to go to the Lavender Festival Sat. 25th but we'll see what life brings us, some things are a little uncertain today but I know God has a plan. :)
Tornado watches constantly, definitely expected for spring in TX. But poor OK families and pets! The footage is as they say: devastating.
Evalynn's first communion was beautiful and the after party was filled with local relatives. God is good.
Homeschooling is constantly throwing excellent ideas and opportunities at us that we would never have known otherwise.
I have finished another semester of college, so far so good, but no grades posted yet. So nervous, just discovered that to beat competition into my program for nursing I need an A in every class I take! It's doable, thankfully I've always been good at school. But I won't lie, it will take dedication.
Oh oh, before I forget....I've home grown tomatoes! I have the brownest thumb of anyone ever, but here I am eating home grown tomatoes! What to make next?
HOLY the storm just threw open my front door!
