good friday, good news

UPDATE: BUDDY PAYNE ....yes the one from FC is coming to see me accept the award! How cool is that!

Today is good friday.....what is your good news?

This week I found out that I had been nominated for "North Texas Music Teacher of the Year" by an organization called "score a goal in the classroom"....and I GOT IT! I'll be presented the 1,000 dollar award at Fort Worth's Bass Hall!

Below is the scripture I have been repeating/singing in my head anytime I felt I wanted to quit this year. The Lord does see us and others see HIm through us! The lord is gracious!


The eyes of the lord are toward the righteous and his ears are open to their cries...so be strong and courageous!
