yeah i know it's avril lavigne...but i never thought she would have a song that "meant something" to me but when i heard this song i couldn't help but think about the realtionships we have with each other. When it says i'll be here for you i think of how we are suppose to be supportive and loving toward one another. Then it says there's no other way but the truth i see that as of course: God's word is the truth and there is nothing we can do to take back our sins that Jesus took for us and there is no other way but by the truth to live our lives. i dunno maybe that was just dumb but i like the song anyway...
i've been trying to think of new and better ways to approach people about the Bible not just "What church do you go to and why?", "Do you Believe in Jesus and Why?"...so some new ideas
about how to get people thinking would be great :)))

how blessed i am! i have had the best couple of weekends ever! first was the gospel meeting with Thaxter Dickey which i already talked about and then...i got to go to 1000 voices! we first met this really cool family that housed us, fed us,and entertained us---wow thanks guys!! the singing was amazing!! we sang praises to our glorious Lord for about 4 hours...just imagine in heaven we can sing all the time!! we got to stay with mr.jeff who planned the whole 1000 voices thing and had fun listening to some funny stories he had. and on sunday we had services with the family we had stayed with previously--it was very uplifting and interesting!
the next weekend-which was this last weekend i got to go to FC for Falcon days--we were there during Midnight Madness which was madness...it was funny watching everyone--especially keren,daniel, and tim when they ran to a baseball bat bent over and spun there heads around it ten times and then attempted to run straight back to their team on the other side of the room! it was hilarious and i'm so glad i got to see everyone! i also met some more new people....and fc seems great hopefully i will get to go! there was another singing at fc which was INCREDIBLE! i loved it--there is nothing better or more edifying than singing together to God. to top off the whole weekend we celebrated dustins big 16 at ippilitos(i think thats what its called)but they had cool live music--then we all played the ever so competitive sport of football for dustin since we all know how much he loves the game! i hope you had fun dustin!!
i got to spend a lot of time with my good friends from eh and roswell and just being with good christians all the time was so encouraging i'm so happy that we have these opportunities to be together we should never take them for granted!! i can't wait to be in heaven with all of you one day!!!

was amazing! i absolutely loved it--i wish it had never ended..but next weekend is 1,000 voices!!
Thaxter Dickey's sermons were sooo good i needed every single one of them! and it was so encouraging to be able to go to church five days in a row!
but also this weekend i got to spend tons of time with my gurls and him and him--it was great we stayed up playing games and someone was making funny noises and getting in trouble with kk at 4:00 in the morning. and the singing at the broadwells was great i just can't beleive we can sound that good-it makes me think of heaven...

but i've been thinking....motives....motives motives motives we all have motives...why do we do the things we do? and do we do the right things? do we help the old lady with her bags because we want a tip or because we're kind? do we only talk to the smart guy at school because we know he'll help us on our next paper or do we talk to him because no one else does? do we like someone just because they are good looking or because they are a nice person? we need to be careful about how and why we do things. we are suppose to be kind and humble people but doing something just for our benefit isn't very nice! I think we should all try to think of others more than ourselves!
